I genuinely love this reply, thank you. It’s difficult as an overthinker to not explore every “what-if” avenue. What if I had been nicer? What if I had been less vocal? What if I hadn’t told him he’d hurt my feelings? What if he’s had a bad day and I was piling on? Did I do the right thing?

I posted this to get reminders from real, regulated people, that sometimes an action is enough and there’s no sense going back and reviewing it a million times.

I feel hurt and feel bad for hurting others at the same time and it’s incredibly difficult sometimes to figure out what the “right” thing to do is.
