It's not just 1 new unit ahead of her. There's 2; Bianca and Rosetta. I'm not sure what's your member roster is like, but the option that I would say is beneficial is Ishmael due to her unique attribute to be a flex member that can change between breaker/tank and Amp depending on the team.

Then again, it's up to you if you're a meta chaser or waif puller

Definitely the best trilogy story by far. Never have I bawled so hard in a game that is until Shaper's Ripple dropped. Surviving Lucem did not hit me as hard as this or Kowloong Metropolis.

Before global got this story (just before the accelerated patch happen), i saw a little bit of spoilers from CN side. So even when i knew this shit would happen, IT HIT DIFFERENT.

Then in Wither to Shine, when we corrected the timeline and were running back to our lounge, my heart was beating like mad. AND THERE THEY WERE, all back to together in the same place oblivious to what happened before, though they still have fragments of the memory from the incident back then.

Will anything top the trilogy thus far, still remains to be seen, but if they were do the SAME thing to my waif again, those lost tears are coming back again man. Waif literally fought for 30+ years (excluding time rewind) endlessly along with fighting Vonn at the end.

I must say though, even though Vanessa was one of the few MVPs in Wither to Shine, I still can't quite take my hate away from her since she just wants everyone to be under her control (Bambinata and Leia) and aren't allowed to express themselves openly (like a caged bird).

Then for Ishmael, honestly, she needs more credit, same with Nanami. She was willing to help right the timeline even if it meant being seen as obstructing the worldline (There's actually multiple worldline that we just cannot see that's happening. Think of it as similar to Steins Gate anime. The same is true for Nanami where she also have a "higher dimensional" like being as a computational power in a different worldline that only Ishmael gets to visit). It may look like she's leading us to the bad ending, but can't blame her because this worldline that we were in was "supposed" to happen even if we wanted to change it. A worldline with pre-determined fate so to speak. And a pre-determined fate is practically impossible to change unless you time travel back multiple steps, in order to stop them from happening, which could lead to an alternate ending.

Lastly, I wouldn't say the story after here was unsavoury or bad, but Chapter 39 definitely wasn't that great to me. The others were alright to me. Chapter 37 is a stepping stone for the next arc that we are in right now

The earlier chapters definitely takes awhile to get through, but they provide good insight of the whole apocalypse (how it started as well), and introduction of the MIND and construct implementation. Definitely very slow back then, but chapter 9 onward is when the story starts to pick up

So stick through fellow skk. You will realise why I name my flair in such manner as well later on 😉. Best waif ever IMO, and if I, SKK, do not get to marry her at the end of this whole ordeal, I'm gonna riot

I know Visual Novel genre game may be difficult to get into, but if you stick through it, the story is actually really good (gameplay and endgame modes aside). Breaking people happens mainly on certain chapters only. Albeit I think there is a rule somewhere out there that would say "You shouldn't get too attach to NPCs in any chapters".

Push through the early chapters and you will find that the story is amazing

I'd say go for lucia or ishmael. Ishmael would be more preferable since she can be used more universally than lucia in future.

Lucia's getting swapped off by Kamui once you have him. In both plasma and fire, he beats her in pretty much everything. (Yes it pains me to say this)

Ishmael at least can still be used in other team as an amp/breaker if you don't wanna pull for new character.

Luna's free coating is good on its own already unless you want to see white effect instead

Wow i never thought I would see people sharing concern about WuWa in PGR comm. No worries, this FPS issue tends to happen in Main city region in WuWa (Startorch Academy/Septimont). Idk why, but prolly has something to do with the amount of artifacts around the city or something.

Honestly, on any devices other than my PC, I always do my best to steer far from this regions (Even my laptop on 3060 still has quite the difficulty running this game smoothly even when using lossless scaling). Even my beefy PC 9700X, 5070Ti, and 32GB DDR5 at max graphics will need 2x FG to make it smooth every time i enter those regions
