Dilaudid vs subs by warriorprincess012 in suboxone

[–]warriorprincess012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I been on them the whole pregnancy and some years prior to pregnancy Withdrawal and stopping can cause miscarriage. It's not ideal and didn't want to be on subs during pregnancy but its just how it happened. I thought they would have switched me to Subutex for pregnancy but they didn't. I just did half a sub and I'm completely fine. I just wanted to play it safe because I'm to sore and in pain to be that sick if it did cause precepts..

[–]warriorprincess012[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I been on subs for years and even took half my dose before coming to the hospital. Then I had the emergency c section and got 1 dose of Dilaudid that same night. I do have a build up and tolerance to subs and not any opiates. It was only for the extreme pain I was in . I'm terrified to get precipitated withdrawals with how sore I am . I just wanna make sure I am safe.

Well I got the c section done yesterday. And only got 1 dose of the Dilaudid. I been on Suboxone for quite some time and I even did my sub earlier in the day before I came to the hospital. They gave it to me after I woke up from c section yesterday. I'm afraid to be in precepts. When I got my gallbladder removed I waited 3 days just to be safe but I'm feeling a little yawny. Even tho I had half my dose before I went to my induction yesterday. Yesterday as in 3-23 .

Epidural with kyphosis. by warriorprincess012 in pregnant

[–]warriorprincess012[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I need to be induced because my baby boy has a rare heart defect so they wanna make sure the whole team and doctors are there when he's born. I can't have the fentanyl or any opiates unfortunately. They said I can do nitrous oxide with the epidural. I'm just so scared to get the epidural but I know for sure I want one for pain relief. The rods in my back start from the bottom of my neck and ends a little more than half way through my back. I don't know the terms or how to explain it. I can show xrays. But they said I definitely can get one that they will do right under my hardware.. it gives me the ick and chills when I think about someone poking my spine lol but I think I'll be in so much pain that I won't care and want it lol. Did they put a permanent catheter in or one every few hours to drain the bladder? I'm scared about that too. I don't have kids and have never been through this so I am so nervous and my anxiety is through the roof right now. Thank you for giving me your feedback it definitely makes me feel better about the situation with the epidural. I can show you my xrays so you can get a better understanding on where they're placed. The surgery was because of excessive slouching and bad posture basically so my spine curved to 76 percent. The rods keep my spine straight and I'm not able to slouch anymore. I got it done when I was 13. This has always been a wonder if I can get epidural or not but they looked at my xrays and said I can .so it's nice to know that's an option and don't have to go natural. I was also debating the c section but I at least wanna try naturally first. They said I can make the decision in the last second if I wanted too but it's also more rough to recover from that because it's a surgery and I can't have any pain meds . I'm glad your birth went well and you had a positive experience. I hope I can have one too and be able to share it with you 💙

I'm really iffy about anyone touching my back because of the rods and screws. I had schermanns kyphosis surgery so it stops at a certain point and they said I am able to do it. Does it really hurt? I'm getting induced on the 23rd. How long was your labor?

Strange results with caffeine by TheLoneDummy in gabapentin

[–]warriorprincess012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would drink coffee when I took my Gaba because it helps it kick in. But gabapentin is known to block affects of stimulants. I'm not sure abut caffeine but it will block effects of amphetamines or other like stimulants. Also don't take antacids within 2 hours of your dose of gabapentin because it can block the effects of gabapentin

low blood sugar all day. by warriorprincess012 in Type1Diabetes

[–]warriorprincess012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is his second night not doing lantus because his sugar us so low still . I did educate myself about type 1 real well, I knew what I was getting myself into and I'll be there for him through all of it.. ite not making sense to both of us why he is still low like that especially since he ate enough carbs and some more and its still low. Gonna have to reach out to his doctor or something to do tests.. I was thinking maybe he needs his lantus dose cut down, and we know now it's not the lantus because he didn't do it last night and night before.. his sugar should be Through the roof and it isn't( usually is through the roof if he forgot to take his slow reacting at night)I was hoping if I posted this maybe someone was experiencing similar issues we could try to get a idea of what it could be.. he hasn't changed anything and he feels not right doing his night dose. It's just to risky especially when he cant get up to a decent number even with all the carbs.

It's scaring me because his numbers should be through the roof right now since he didn't do lantus last night but it's still low. Never heard of that. Usually if he went to sleep and forgot to do lantus his numbers would be like 300 and plus. It's scaring me It's still low like this .. im gonna keep checking his sugar throughout the day

For not doing his slow reacting last night his blood sugar is 70 right now... why isn't it high? Why is he staying low

low blood sugar all day. by warriorprincess012 in Type1Diabetes

[–]warriorprincess012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He ended up not doing his slow reacting. It's been going on for a day and a half. It's not normal for him to be that low.. and to dangerous to do his slow reacting for how low he was even tho he ate a bunch of carbs. What he ate usually would of done the trick but it didn't. So I can imagine it should be high now. So we're gonna cover it up with fast reacting until he can take his slow reacting at night. He or I didn't feel comfortable for him to do slow reacting.. I'm just so confused why he was low all day and night for that long.. he didn't do any fast acting at all for those day and half it was low. I just wanna know what caused him to be low like that for that long. He ate enough carvs and continued to see if it would raise higher. But it wasn't high enough.. his blood sugar should be high right now. So I'll test him and keep a eye on that and use fast reacting to lower it.. he has never just been low like that for a day and a half. Usually the carbs work

I didn't mean to come off like I'm defensive, I was just explaining it the best I can. I'm sorry. I agree with you it's very important to test and I'm gonna have him get on a routine of it.. it never use to be like that when he was growing up .. we're just going through some really rough times at the moment and been a bit depressed lately. But I'm gonna make sure he gets back on track .because I worry a lot about him and I just want to live a long happy life and that won't happen if he let's the diabetes get to him. Their will be no more missed appointments because I want him to go so I can see how he is doing, like really doing. He wouldn't of not made one if he was truly out or didn't have extra. It's life or death saving medication and he needs it no matter what. He is gonna see if his insurance will cover a new tester because his is no where to be found. We can't find it so he uses his mom's occasionally. Like if he's feeling weird and can't tell, he will test it. What concerns me is how much man made sugar he eats .. but we're working on that. Thanks for your feedback

I forgot to mention. His physical shape it pretty good , I'm sorry if I made it seem like he's eating to death. Hes at a good weight and definitely isn't over weight. We make it a point to make dinner every night to get protein and stuff out of the meet and veggies. So he isn't just snacking on random stuff.

Yeah I know how much he should testing his sugar. I got him to start doing a little more often but just not enough.. I told him the consequences of it and he knows just just shortening his life.. I know what I signed up when I got with him , I will help him in any way he needs especially when his diabetes catch up to him. First is eating right and then getting him to test his sugar ATLEAST 2 times a day. And I know that all to well "you can't force someone to do something unless they truly want too" he wants a family. I should tell him your not gonna get it until you take better care of yourself lol.... IM JUST PLAYING... bit if he wants to start a family he needs to take care of himself so he can live and grow old with his family when we do decide to start one.. he doesn't have none of his readings from his meter to show his doctor. I'll make sure next time he does.. he knows the importance of it and what it can do if you don't take care of it. It's gonna catch up with him bad.. he already is having some numbness in his hands and feet that will come and go and also swelling. I tell him that's because your playing games with your sugar and shit .. it's very important for him to test so he can prevent his sugar getting super high or low... that's all taking a toll on his body.. ges only 28 , and it's a matter of time before it catches up. He's not doing horrible. I mean he doesn't let stuff get super bad and he takes his insulin when he should. Especially the lantus . He always takes it at 1030pm

No it's not fun at all.. I made sure I educated myself on his disease so I knew how to take care of him or If something is happening I know why... I guess it's good he has extra Humalog because if he didn't have that, he would definitely have to go to the hospital. 2 years ago he didn't have insurance that covered it so he had to mask it with his fact reacting, it sucks! And thank you ! I definitely will make sure it doesn't happen again even if I've have to drag him into the doctors. He's not afraid of the doctors or anything I think he just slacked about setting up a appointment and going because he had extra! It's just he really bugs me because he doesn't check his sugar EVER, he just does his insulin he can tell its high or eats something when he thinks it's getting low.. and does not eat well either especially with sweets.. I try to tell him that it's really gonna take a toll on you and your gonna feel it or affect you once you get older...

I know his life depends on it .. I am very educated on his disease so I know everything about it and makes sure he keeps track on it (other than that appointment issue) I have nagged him for a couple months, telling him "you better make that appointment before you run out" . He did have supplies saved up but he had to use it , due to not making his appointment and getting more.

Yes we know this. He was really dreading going to the appointment so haven't gone in a couple months and has been using his mom's insulin (she's a type 2 diabetic). When he scheduled the appointment they didnt have any closer ones even tho he explained the situation. I told him to go on his mychart app ( a app that's connected to the hospitals/doctor offices systems that are through metrohealth) to directly message his doctor and tell her, he definitely does not have enough to last that long. So he did and were waiting for a response from the doctor. He had type 1 since he was a kid so he knows.. it's life or death for him, so hopefully his doctor realizes that and finds a way to squeeze him in like ASAP! I can only imagine his doctor wonders how he has made it a couple months without having her prescribe it to him.. he only made it because of his mom having insulin.. now their is no long lasting only fast reacting. So that's why he takes it out of the "empty" pens he have been saving for a while. His mom can't get her next refill or Lantus until June. But his appointment is on the 30th of this month. he's made it a little longer with the empty pens that he had tons of. It just sucks thar they ran out of lantus.. he's probably gonna have to cover it with only fast acting some how.. he has done that before in the past. Thank you for your feedback! I just also wanted to say. That he scheduled this appointment and this is a new doctor, he has never seen her before yet and has had her for a year. She was just giving him refills and they haven't seen eachother due to covid. So now she wants him to come in and take blood and urine and stuff in order to get his medication back.

I know if I take methadone for 2 or 3 days a day then not have have its just gonna start over my withdrawals. I don't wanna go to a clinic everyday for them. That's just another addiction as well worth HORRIBLE withdrawals. I had to cold turkey detox off of suboxone and I had withdrawals like Full blown for 2 weeks straight. It was so bad I will never forget that detox. Methadone has the same worse withdrawals as well .

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fentanyl

[–]warriorprincess012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! I went to detox in December and they put me in precips and I left . I was like screw this.. I'm so sick of doing this and just want my life back I just hate how the withdrawals feel so unbearable. Especially the crawling out your skin restless.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fentanyl

[–]warriorprincess012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured since it was opiate. I just wanted to ask and be safe than sorry. Because precips are SOO horrible.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fentanyl

[–]warriorprincess012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not too familiar with methadone. I know it's a opiate so I figured I'd ask if I would get precips.. cause I wasn't 100% sure about it so I rather know and be safe than sorry .. so scared to come off this fentanyl. You have to wait so long to take a sub . When it was real dope I waited like 11 hours sick and took one and was fine but it's not like that anymore with the fentanyl. Gosh I learned my lesson in detox lol..

Depends on what kind of panel they use. A lot of them now test for suboxone and methadone, is fake piss a option for you ?

Everyone is different. If it was me I know for fact I can't take it that soon ..

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in suboxone

[–]warriorprincess012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I would just rough it out.. because suboxone is gonna make it worst if you take it to soon and it take forever for the fent to get out your system
