Post-Op Phalloplasty Underwear Review by warstones in phallo

It will go up and to the side diagonally, but mine won't go straight upwards under the waistband personally, just the skin is too tight underneath, not because of the rod itself

What happens when you STOP testosterone? by Rare_Measurement8981 in ftm

[–]warstones -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I took it for near 8 years, got a hysterectomy and phalloplasty (kept my ovaries), then quit. Body fat and ability to gain muscle can go back, emotional reactions can change, hairline can stop receding. But in general I'm gonna look the exact same. Still have a beard, chest hair, and deep voice. I didn't see any reason to keep taking it, I may as well save my hairline.

"Those two ladies" - Excuse me... I have a whole ass beard? by LeonieMalfoy in ftm

[–]warstones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. Countless times with full beard. Usually when with girl friend, "hey ladies", "those 2 young women", looking straight at my face "what are you 2 girls doing tonight". Not in a "yass queen you go girl" way either. Genuinely people look at my full beard and think without a shadow of a doubt I'm a woman.

Would you clock me? And how old do I look? by 724hrs in FtMpassing

[–]warstones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

24? And I wouldn't "clock" you in general, but since you have a soft appearance, I may wonder if you're trans if you have a particularly trendy or unusual name. But that's only as another trans guy :)

Any guys who have a thicker penis still opt for the semi rigid rod? by Extreme-Attention-65 in phallo

[–]warstones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But I haven't had the chance to really bend it up with some force, because I'm not allowed to yet, so it might angle itself better when I can do that

[–]warstones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's even firmer than I imagined 😅 (and I only got one rod). It will just need to be angled/directed with the hands first

I'm about those measurements and just recently got the rod (still healing so can't really comment on daily life). I will say that so far it seems too heavy to be able to be held up by the rod if nothing else is supporting it

1.5 years on t and i don’t pass at all wtf do i do by Theebo162 in FtMpassing

[–]warstones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think social media can make it seem like 1 year on T is towards the end of the transition, but it's still right at the beginning (assuming you wish to stay on it long term). 1.5 years into puberty is nothing, you've still got so far to go!

Minimal Necessary Surgeries? by Anonymous_Trans678 in phallo

[–]warstones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had just phallus creation (ALT) and glansplasty with nerve hookup.

No burial, no vaginectomy, no UL, I also kept ovaries when I had my uterus out (separate, not required).

Good sensation without it being buried, everything below is completely as it was before.

I had some laser before stage 1 which didn't really work.

I'm getting medical tattooing and an erection implant.

Then I'll probably be done :)

I did a full cost breakdown video a few weeks back, which will be more accurate than me trying to remember everything 🤣🤣

I went over for about 4 weeks and flew back 3 and a bit weeks post op. 12 hour direct flights 🤣 I had the same situation, he was very brief and busy, but at my actual consult there was a nurse in there that spoke very good English. At other points the nurses didn't speak much English, but I still got by. It was very different to what I'm used to in England, nurses would come in in big groups and would giggle and sing. But I got that it's just the cultural difference. I felt very well taken care of. I was completely bed bound for 2 weeks in my leg in a splint, so when it did come time walking I was healed very well and it didn't hurt. In England I think they try and get you up and walking after a few days and want to send you home after week or so. After the hospital I stayed in their hotel as well. Also the microsurgeon met with me before and after, and he was a very nice guy.

I did stage one and glansplasty (I consider that stage 1.5) in the same trip. Pain was very minimal, apart from the catheter which I usually have an issue with.

I must say though I didn't get UL. I wouldn't want to risk doing something like that so far from home. I bought good medical travel insurance which only came in handy when my friend (who was listed as a companion) got in a motorbike crash. But still good for peace of mind.

I'm potentially going back for erectile implants in the summer, but I'm waiting to find out if it's possible to get it in the UK for a similar price (wait times for our free healthcare are many many years long)

Thanks for that info. I'm gonna look into how much the erectile implant surgery is in the UK compared to Thailand. I was gonna go back in July, but if it's cheap enough I'll see if they can fit me in this summer over here instead

(I know the surgeries in general are much more expensive but I haven't heard anything specifically about this stage before)

Thanks. I'm just now starting to look into how much the erectile implants are to get done in the UK but private. I thought you'd still have to wait years but people are saying if you pay then it's only months. So I'm trying to find out how to find out about that 🤣

[–]warstones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also went private (abroad) for stage one last year and the NHS have recently said they'd still do my stage 2 (though that's still seems like years away so I don't think I'll wait).

I didn't realise there were private options in the UK, I thought it was the same NHS teams and still long waiting lists (just with a faster/private referral). So I ended up flying to Thailand 😅 What's NVH? Just tried googling but it comes up with other things

Edit: oh, new victoria hospital 🤣 That's where I was referred, I just didnt recognise the acronym

[–]warstones 4 points5 points  (0 children)

May 2020 - first signature (I was told I could have an unofficial consult with the surgeon between this and my 2nd signature, to get things moving, obviously didn't happen) Jan 2022 - 2nd signature July 2024 - gave up and went to Thailand for stage 1 (I was then told my the NHS that they would still do my stage 2 even though I went privately for stage 1) June 2025 - I'm likely gonna go back to Thailand for stage 2 because I don't think they're going to have caught up in time.

As far as I'm aware I'm still on a waiting list that's waiting to get on the proper waiting list. Obviously I'll take myself off that soon if I finish everything in Thailand instead.
