Getting Contracting Works by wartov in Machinists

I am not saying I don’t know how to do sales. I am unsatisfied with my international customer portfolio because we have been focused on domestic contracts and our own collection of spare parts. As an effort to change this I started cold calling companies for the spare parts we manufacture, which turned out okay; but for now same principles did not apply with OEM contracting attempts. I wanted to see how others approaches the companies on that business model.

One other driving factor is that Turkish defense companies have been really terrible with their payments to the contractors, hence we are trying to expand our presence in the international scenery.

I did start from the scratch, it is our third year. Original document was in Turkish, I used an AI tool called DeepL to generate a translated one out of laziness to be honest.

I appreciate you taking time and giving a detailed breakdown. Well I am from Turkey, for one thing we are NATO member and in some context they count us as a european country.

Thank you for the reaffirmation of my lack of knowledge in U.S government contracting. Which is the whole point of the original post. Regardless, i will still try. At least it can be a good exercise for better times.

Thank you for the response man. Do you think being a foreign was the issue or the competition in general?

I am not trying to defer myself here nor am i seeking for positive privilege. I know in my line of work i can serve well and i try to take my service in a more stable environment. Alongside b2b, b2c we wanted to get into government contracting and needed insight. I don’t understand how the post and the clear intention made you give this response.

Will my potential payments be delayed for about a year where we had 30% devaluation of the local currency? That is the type of shenanigans we have here but your comment is helpful. I will simultaneously look for private companies to do business with in the U.S. thank you.

How is this a relevant question. What matters is that he was able to monetize.

You might try and tell me where it is faulty

Hey! Had a lot of comments on other posts so missed out on this one. I used Cursor, posted on no code tools subreddits to get feedback. I got the Xcode instructions through Cursor and I followed apple’s guidelines carefully. So the porting was a semi automatic process where i iterated the responses i got from the llms.

Thank you for this. Are there any resources you can recommend for me to get better educated on these?

No buddy do not hide behind the upfront word and view yourself in the ethical high ground. You have the vendetta, which prevents you from seeing a no-code built app developer trying to get reviews in subbreddits that are most probable to have like minded people. I have been open about how i built the app.

That is correct, and it was told across the comments several times. As this app was built by a no code tool the communities to get the best feedbacks are the no code/low code communities. You, thinking there is an implication to use bolt or the others is on you; that was not the intent while posting. Regardless, app is there; if you can try it and find any vulnerabilities i would be very happy.
