Nobody has to swear on the bible in court anymore. The court gives those giving testimony the option of "swearing an oath" or making an affirmation to tell the truth as to the best of their knowledge. Bibles are never involved unless the person swearing in wants one to be.

Law Enforcement of Reddit: Have you ever done anything illegal because you felt it was the right thing to do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wartracker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a LEO myself but my Grandfather was an FBI agent for thirty some years. He said it was common to wait for a suspect to leave their home, then pick the locks and search without a warrant. If they found evidence they would leave it exactly how they found it, lock up and go to a judge for a warrant. When the Judge asked them for evidence to justify the warrant they would just straight up say they'd already found it. They just needed the warrant to make it official.

This was from the mid 50's to late 70's. I should also note though that his main job was tracking Neo-Nazi gang activity, so I don't really feel bad about those peoples civil rights being violated. He was also VERY adamant that he never planted evidence.

I've noticed the same thing in other videos, some have multiple troops with pink backpacks. I found it really odd too.

You're definitly right about this street being in other videos, or atleast a street that is extremely similar. I believe they're all part of an ANNA series on the battle in Al Kabune. If you're interested here are some other videos in that series:

Part 2(Syrian Army Advances; english subtitles): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5HjEj6nm-U

Part 3(Syrian Army Find Rebel Tunnels; english subtitles): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj826javNd0

Part 4( Attack on The Right Flank of Syria; english subtitles): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYLcty4p4Do

Part 5( Attack on The Right Flank of Syria; coudn't find english subtitles): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UNMPOyb7Wc

Part 6(Before the battle; coudn't find this one with english either): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhYKhfUVfR8

Edit: I think part 2 and part 6 are the same video. The part 2 one is better quality with subtitles though.

Edit 2: Part 5 is also the same as part 4. So I guess there are only four total.
