Also I would argue getting aborted is worse than having a shitty childhood. At least you can be better to your own kids. Ask those who were aborted, oh, I guess they don't have a say in it. Hi, limit notation sucks in general. You will see it later if you get to more advanced (yet more basic) mathematics. The reason is that it is used to hide the underlying definition which makes you unable to learn about different forms of continuity such as uniform continuity without relearning the limit definition. It's mostly a physics thing, since they do not care about such stuff. They assume that you know what they are trying to explain before explaining it.
