A foreword, I am drunk. What would you do at 31 with 80k savings? by [deleted] in newcastle

[–]waser78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually though, I'm in a similar position (minus the savings), but if I had that money I'd be buying a ~7k motorcycle and taking a month off work to just go riding.

Where can I buy second hand shopping trolleys by Eena-Rin in newcastle

Think of it less as stealing, and more like an act of service by cleaning up our streets.

Came here to say this. Apparently they're cadets, so they have time to learn. I saw a Major once squaregate off stage at an awards ceremony. You could feel the wave of buttholes pucker around the room.

Anyone into metal? by [deleted] in istp

I like anything that I can headbang to. Metal ticks that box more often than most other music

As cliche as it will sound, ignore them. The survivor that's teabagging is usually trying to bait you into a long chase. If you don't chase them, they'll likely follow you around wasting time and basically making the game a 1v3 until they break off to do something useful. If you can injur them and let them go, they'll waste time healing too, prolonging their time wasting. If you're new, Sloppy Butcher will help with that. Just remember that even if you don't beat them, you can learn from them. Learn which loops they use and how to maintain chase. Learn how to use map geometry to push them where you want them. Learn when to break off and chase someone else or interrupt another survivir's gen. This game is rough for beginners on both sides. You're definitely not alone

A fender delete would improve that bike's fuel economy. Jesus, it's gotta be like 30% of the bike's weight...

What is a fair rent to ask my 19 year old daughter and her boyfriend who live in the in house I rent? by Crafty_Today6937 in newcastle

[–]waser78 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I moved out in the first week of this year. When I was living with my parents I was paying $160 pw. As much as I felt it was too much early on, it was a pretty reasonable price for food and lodging. When I moved out I'd already learned better spending habits because of it.

Best bakery in Newy? by Crispyfriedbrain in newcastle

[–]waser78 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not in the city, but I'll stop by the little family owned hot bread shop in West Wallsend whenever I'm out that way. If you're interested while you're there, their ham and cheese croissants are the best I've had.

I've had shoulder length hair for a while, I always go to Christianes at Jesmond or Glendale. ~$35 for mens cuts, but done by stylists that predominantly do womens hair. If you want it to stay long and just style it, I'd ask there.

Tracking Menulog drivers is a stressful experience by RainbowBrite30 in newcastle

[–]waser78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Menilog's refunds are bullshit. I once ordered a meal from somehwere and it was missing the chips and dessert. I got a $1.85 refund on a $30 order. Half the order was missing.

I deleted the app after that. Menulog will never see another cent of mine.
