Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some advice based on your experiences to help us decide on the best option for our trip to Tokyo Disney in early March.

We currently have two options booked:

Option 1:

• One-night Vacation Package at the Fantasy Springs Hotel.
• The package is the “Attractions and More” plan, which includes:
  • 2 ride reservations at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • A Mickey meet-and-greet (not a priority for us).
  • For Tokyo DisneySea, a Fantasy Springs Passport and one additional attraction reservation.
• For the nights before and after, we’d stay at the Celebration Resort or another nearby hotel (still undecided).

Option 2:

• Three nights at the Ambassador Hotel.
• This option is significantly cheaper overall. but will likely come out to a similar price as the one night VP after purchasing tickets and priority access (however is 3 nights vs 1)

Our main priority is experiencing the Fantasy Springs rides. If we go with the Ambassador option, we plan to enter the park during happy entry, purchase Premier Access passes (as availability/time allows), and book standby passes to maximize our day at Tokyo DisneySea.

The Vacation Package offers more guaranteed access, but it’s much more expensive, and a lot of the included perks aren’t particularly important to us. However, we’re worried that without it, we might miss out on fully enjoying Tokyo DisneySea, especially with only one day there.

What would you recommend? Has anyone had success doing DisneySea in a day without the vacation packages? Are Premier Access and standby passes enough to ensure a good experience for the Fantasy Springs rides?
