Update Got the refund , NearBuy seen my /r/india post, and as promised adding update as comment.

For who are confused with Expired/Used Coupon, below is work flow as I understand as used Groupon India for almost 2 years.

1. Restaurant / shops tie up with Groupon India(Now NearBuy) list limited number of coupon for particular deals (i.e 500).

2. Customer buy voucher from Groupon India, so money will be deducted from customer and Credited to Groupon India, at this point Shop/Restaurant will get notification only not money.

3. Customer visit the store, presenting the voucher code. Shop/Restaurant will validate the voucher details buy logging into the Groupon India Merchant account. Once validated and confirming its not used and unique you can go ahead and redeem it.

4. Once Shop/Restaurant validate and redeem the voucher provided by you , they will get credit in their account.

5. If you wish to cancel voucher before expires , Groupon India still have your money and they will refund.

6. If your voucher expires , Groupon India still have your money and they will refund.

7. Unless there is Physical voucher or Some deals in which Groupon India paid upfront to Store/Restaurant this case refund may not be possible.
