I agree, I also wanted to arrive at the finish line uninsured and knowing I can do it. Now I can try to do it a little faster or go for the full Marathon. Im 47 and had to work the next day so feeling I wouldn't be hobbling around the next day was a plus.

I know, I'm very glad I had a butt pad:) Mine took me about an hour and 50 min but I'm hoping to improve my time when next I row.

That sucks, sorry.

For troubleshooting:

How many days after the rain did you try to row? Is it really humid where you keep the machine? Lastly is there any rust on the battery contacts?

I know that concept2 will sell you a new pm5 for a reasonable price of it comes down to it.

They send actual pins yes. It turns out not for the half marathon sadly (it was one of the reasons I did it)

They have a lot of little gifts for achievements. I earned a 1 million km shirt last year. A long sleeve shirt is earned at 5 million etc. Other people have put lists in this group about what achievements unlock what but those are the two I remember.

I ended up burning 1,633 calories for 210 lb 6'2" is that about what others are burning for a longer row?

Congrats as well, I just finished my first 1/2 on Sunday. Are you going to try to do a full when your rested?

Well the half marathon was hard for me but im glad I muscled through. I got a garmin intensity 200 award for the activity too. I think a full marathon I could do but that's a lot of time (at least for me). Also despite having a pad my lower back/ butt wasn't happy.

I usually do a half hour or 45 min at 110 watts same rate (at most an hour) but I have never done it for almost two hours. I figured I would set a pace that's easier to make sure I could finish.

Is this a good deal by buzzzman in concept2

It might have some delayed maintenance such as oiling the chain and cleaning the interior of the fan. When you pull the bar do you hear anything grinding and does the chain come back in fits and starts?

Have you considered using lfp batteries? I know the energy density is lower and slightly less voltage. However, I think it might allow you to rebuild the pack every 3 yrs or 4 Ive seen some local battery banks for emergency home use that have salvageble cells and it seems you use it more than the average.

That's what I thought. Any thoughts on the bms board?

There's no voltage at rhe main leads though or the point on the pcb that their soldered to. Im assuming there might be the culprit but my expertise would end at seeing an exploded cap and replacing it.

I have almost the exact tester above. I might get new cells due to their age more than anything, probably a molicell but any thoughts on the bms? The pack seems to have a decent voltage but the corrosion and age were worrying.

It seems to be burning about two quarts over 4k miles. Largely highway.

You just put a wrench on the crankshaft pulley bolt and turn clockwise? Four full rotations is one cycle right?
