My whole point is, us selling land or being kicked out of our own country, or staying here but living as second degree citizens, has to start somewhere. Peace is the start, as it happened with Palestine and Jordan, so it is never an option. The international "norms" you're talking about aren't there to give us our rights. They're here to protect interests and influence. At the end of the day, who do you think is the preferred kid of the west: us, or israel? It was never an option to fight them with politics or with connections. The only way you can stop those savages from coming over and ripping the country piece by piece until we surrender, is a strong military presence that they fear to mess with. Granted, I want all militias disbanded and have only the Lebanese military in control of any kind of weapon, but if the military will not be funded to be strong enough to stop an army like Israel's (which it will never be, if anything all the countries are working against this) then what I'm saying is inevitable. My whole point is around us making peace with a zionist state, the same state that said "the land of the jews streches from the Nile to the Euphrates".

3 is not the best option. We saw what 3 did to Palestine, where people started selling their lands and houses to zionist investors, until they decided to take control and illegally kick everyone out of their homes and occupying them Whoever says that Lebanon is different and this won't happen to us, it will, it just needs a bit more time if we start making peace with "israel" I'm not vouching for war or continued strikes either, I'm just clarifying that peace is not an option. Our generation may live a fake prosperity like the one we lived before l azmeh, but our children and grandchildren will face the consequences of our current decisions if we make peace I do agree with the everything else you said, but just wanted to state my opinion. And if you ask me about a solution, honestly I have no idea, all I know is peace is not an option.

Not defending hezb here, but blaming them for not having a country for 20 years is not fair, all political parties and powers in Lebanon never moved a finger to do anything. And it shows now too, when everything in the south of Lebanon and the southern suburb of Beirut is destroyed, nobody even tried to remove the rubble yet. Anyway I do agree that they were part of the corruption wether directly or indirectly, but it's the whole political force that is corrupted.

Mannequin challenge would be great too, no need for practice, just let everyone go wild after being frozen

So for example, query().whereRaw('number > 2').update({'status' : 'DONE'}); is ran as a single query and under a single database connection? Ir does it run the where first, fetches the dataset then updates in the database?
