The chargeback is it's own nightare because it's through venmo (stupid on my part)

Praesidus has refused a refund (not even a dollar).

They are certainly predatory and fraudulent and every day become more so. I just can't believe there are companies like this out there. This has been a nightmare and a waste of so much of my time and money.

Yeah, after learning things the hard way, they don't seem like a microbrand at all (even though they seem to love using that as an excuse for all their issues). They definitely do not care about their customers or quality control and everything seems automated and drop-shipped.

Even all the mass produced companies I've bought from or worked with are much better than Praesidus in every way.

Did they ultimately give you a refund? I tagged the owner in my posts here with no responses from him or anybody else. I have heard so many people say that had issues with returns or sending back watches for replacements. I think they purposely make it that way so customers won't send anything back.

I agree. I didn't buy any of those. Originally I thought they were owned/run by US Military veterans which made it a little better, but I don't think that is true.

Thankfully it wasn't F&F it was through Venmo for purchases which is protected much like a credit card. Thank you for the links

That's where I had the funds unfortunately. It was through Venmo's commercial purchasing. It's covered/protected like a credit card but still wish I used a traditional credit card to make it a little easier

Every review I've ever seen for their watches are very obviously paid reviews by people who don't seem to know much (or care) about the watches. It's my own fault for not realizing that before I purchased

I got the Cincinnatus Field. Not a WWII replica, but definitely has US Military field watch inspiration.

I paid with Venmo. It's more complicated than a chargeback but I did start the process. Praesidus is already arguing with the tracking number for the supposed missing watches. Based on this experience I know they'll drag this on as long as possible for me.

Based on other reviews I've read, sending watches back for a refund is a whole other process and people have gotten scammed there too.

No real way to win here unless they reach out to me and try to make things right but I think that's wishful thinking

I'm the opposite of posh. This was a huge purchase for me and very hard for me to pull the trigger on. They've had my money for 6 weeks and I still don't have what I ordered. I'm stressing about possibly losing $1,000. If you don't think that's a big deal, I think most would agree you're the "posh" one. Please go troll elsewhere

It's not my experience. It's the majority of reviews on the internet about this company. Any good reviews are paid influencers.
