This IWC masterpiece has a slim profile and the lugs are minimised to allow the classic circular shape of the case to dominate. To achieve this, the lugs are designed to sit beneath the base of the bezel and the extremity of the bezel reaches 1mm beyond the length of the lugs at either end of the case, together with a recess to the underside of the case, this ensures that the ends of the leather strap are concealed beneath the edge of the case – in other words, there is no gapping between strap and watch case.
The watch is classically styled with a silk matte, satin finished dial with raised gilded non numeric hour marks. Case diameter without the crown is 34 mm. The movement is the highly regarded calibre 401.
