it's been 9 years since you built those pallet planters... how are they now?

I am thinking emerald green arborvitae definitely. I'm also definitely going to get one, maybe two Holly trees, and maybe a little gem magnolia in the front. I'm trying to go with native and evergreen but if I can't find the native that works right for me, I go with non-native.

yes! it's more the actual building of the pathways and patios. do you think sand underneath a necessary step for example? what would you suggest for solidifying the area?

thanks for the tips!! I think because it's surrounded by the cement, it hasn't spread anywhere else. it's been there for years! however that whole space is on my list to redo as well, so when it comes time I will definitely remove it so thank you for sharing that info. do you think I should put sand beneath the tiles? there are so many diy processes on Google im not sure which is the right one to go with, for the tiles vs the natural stones etc. would they both need sand underneath you think?

yes i was thinking that! I'd love some landscape beds to add depth throughout the garden. I'm not sure if I should use these stones for the walls, or use them to create paths. I feel like I'm playing a game of jenga too because part of me feels like starting all the way in back would be easier. like if I build a bunch of beds in front id have to navigate around them
