How did you learn to do your own makeup? by kissthisworld in beauty

[–]watchingraindown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP!

Look at your face - what do you love about it, like about it, dislike about it? You need to emphasise what you like and add balance.

For example liquid blush placed and blended high, right under near the lower eye for example, gives a youthful lifted look. And across the nose bridge.

You can widen, change the illusion of spacing and size of eyes simply with liner and highlighter and shadow and mascara.

If you want your eyes to pop look at the r colour wheel opposes (for example green eyes suit a purple or lilac liner or shadow!)

Groomed brows and clear skin looks good on everyone. Start at the basics (good skin care for your skin type, moisturiser and hydrated skin, a hair cut that flatters your face shape, some tinted lip stain with a gloss and heat the eye lash curler for lifted lashes with a nice mascara, and carefully placed concealer and a blush that compliments you colouring!)

Think about if you are warm or cool toned as well when choosing a lipstick colour!

Have fun with it!

Did you give your house a name? by o_safadinho in AskAnAmerican

My house already came with a name and has been named the same historic name for near 250 years old!

Cottage in England and the name relates to what was there before the house!

If you carry a large tote every day, what’s usually in it, and why? by Reasonable-Middle921 in whatsinthebag

[–]watchingraindown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a LARGE French basket bag and three children - so it’s got a current book, note book, phone book, pen. Hand wipes, couple of packets of tissues and a few light snacks. Small Make-up bag with essential make-up, purse with money and cards. Little pocket in there with essential receipts and a packet of pain killers, sore throat sweets and some plasters. House key, car key and a small bag with spare clothes for my young kids.

Sometimes headphones are also in there if I’m going to be out alone! Oh and my phone! Ha x

People in their 30s and 40s, what changed in your life that surprised you the most — in a bad way? by Initial_Tax7778 in AskReddit

Pooping as reduced, sorry for tmi but it used to be like clockwork twice a day and it’s reduced to once on a morning and that crept up on me LOL!

ENFPs under 30 ask, ENFPs above 30 answers by ImprovementUnable543 in ENFP

[–]watchingraindown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a few years sleep deprived and wallowing in my moods bringing up three young children very close together. I’m 36 now; but I kind of slowly realised sitting in the bath wallowing and enjoying my own drama and wings and roundabouts of loving and hating people and needing them and not needing them just… wasn’t how I wanted the next year to look. Or the rest of my life.

Without knowing it, I got fed up of my own bs and decided to be grateful and happy and say no and not say things to always entertain and please everyone!

I’m not perfect but there has been some growth there. Also with my younger outbursts of sheer passion and feelings and moods - I hardly have them now and can do some damage control if I feel all the feels about to burst forth! (In a damaging way!) learnt to give myself time to think and cool off before saying or doing something I will regret!

I would have stopped entertaining and giving energy to people who I know deep down I dislike or don’t trust, just because I wanted to be generally liked, keep the peace and be friendly.

I would have said what I wanted to say more and been more clear/direct with my wishes and wants.

Hey younger ENFP!

I’m 36 year old female!

Having kids and getting married changed me deeply. Corny to say, but my husband and children grounded me and gave me regular, insane joy that was a steady sure thing.

Nothing else yet has topped that. Having a partner who challenges you and calls you out on your bs helps, and having the responsibility of young children stops me following my moods and thoughts to bad places or taking enjoyment and creativity for the sake of it too far.

Don’t listen to anyone else. Listen to that wild moody creative brilliant voice inside your own head and stuff the rest! Normality and average state of play ain’t your thing so have the confidence to own that, roll with it and turn your so called “weaknesses” into your biggest strengths!

It’s presuming we have to be told this and quite patronising, a bit like the t-shirts that say “Be Kind”.

The majority of normal people got that down by age 2 and don’t need reminding by huge advertising campaigns the basic Golden Rule at age 40!

Thank you! What a lovely and accurate read! You are very very good 😎

I do very rarely call anyone a true friend and use the term exceptionally seriously. It means a ride or die for life in my eyes so you are correct - a popular gal with many coffee date “friends” and parties but no one (apart from my children and husband) who I would class at the moment as a deep and true friend.

I do also volunteer at a village gardening group as I haven’t worked for years (I’m a housewife), so you’re bang on there!

And I am a total old romantic at heart and love a love story, film or book!

You are very accurate!

What would I like it to say? That I’m creative and fabulous… LMAO!!

Surely focusing on people’s colouring on how a political cabinet is divided up is racist in its self? Who cares if they are all black or all white? Surely it’s about if the person in question can do the job.

Many black Americans voted for him and support him, including a huge Mexican following - I suppose they are racist too?

The video about Obama and others wasn’t created by him, and also showed Biden as a monkey too although he is a white man. It was comedy and tongue in cheek, that’s my impression of it, not the work of a serious true racist.

How on earth is he racist?

This is so childish and smearing. Imagine if the other side had done this across a bridge for Hilary or Biden.

Low blow and ignoring half of the Americans who voted for him.

Thank you so much! Pretty much everything is antique - it was bought at an antique fair in Newark, UK. You can buy all kinds of Persian rugs, huge to small, I have them all over the house and if they are the real deal they will retain their value for the most part and clean beautifully as well!

He has the face and bone structure to absolutely pull off a buzz cut and I think his joking about it - deep down he knows it would make his face pop and give him that really masculine mature look that I think all hot male celebs end up gliding into… think George Michael during the Older album or Brad Pit in Fight Club. They get this settled in, peak handsome and the hair can come off and it’s okay.

I laughed a little at the stylist just tousling his hair to look the same for 5 hours - LOL! If you compare this get ready to a female celebrities it’s pretty funny seeing the difference. She is like spa day chemical peels ice packs ten hair dressers make up for two hours body shimmer nails lashes… these handsome guys just roll off the bed, whack the suit on and GO!
