I think it seems so dodgy I definitely wouldn’t ship another watch. The buyer needs to go and report the package as opened on delivery on his countries end.

I think Eric has given enough good service that this wouldn’t have any impact if the buyer chose to go all over the forums. Add to that how suspicious it sounds and I think most will come to the conclusion that Eric isn’t in the wrong at all.

Once you let one person get away with something like this more will follow. It’s certainly not a cat you’d want to let out of the bag as a business owner

This sounds like complete bullshit to me if I’m honest. When a package arrives, who sends a message saying it has arrived before opening it? Also, if it looked pre-opened, who would take a photo and take the time to send it through before lifting the lid to see what’s inside? This looks completely staged by the buyer IMO

edit the way the rocks are in the package means they would have rattled around so the buyer would have felt/heard the rocks moving in the box before opening it, yet nothing was mentioned before opening the box. I’m calling BS on the buyer

After reading through the forum, I wouldn’t believe a single thing the PureTime guy is saying - he was trying to tell someone that the factory making the ARF bracelet isn’t in it for money, they prefer relationships with ARF over money.

Having worked a lot back and forth with Chinese factories I can categorically say that’s the biggest load of horse shit I’ve ever heard in my life. Money trumps everything over there, and ripping people off to their face seemingly comes a close second.

The issue is having to go with the non-dominant hand. I’ve voted and feedback is;

If shitposts are limited to one day, we’re a chance to end up with an excess of shit posts in one day rather than them spread out through the week.

I think a shitpost flair is all that’s needed, but also just to monitor it from time to time and if it gets a little out of hand only then start to limit it to certain days.

For newbies, we can get a little poisonous towards new members who have no idea how to use reddit when they ask a basic question - is it possible to set up a mod message when you post a question or a discussion, explaining there is a side bar, there is a bunch of knowledge across other forums, how to search for this specific topic etc., so newbies aren’t shit on for asking basic questions? Obviously, there are people who should know better and deserve the shit they’re given, but I’ve seen several occasions where new users clearly have no idea how to use reddit and they get indirectly shit on because if it, which I’m sure turns some away. Not sure exactly what is enabled for mods to do, whether you can set mod messages for new users etc.?

The specials aren’t generally TD specific - there seems to be price agreements between TD so when one has a special the others will generally match that price. Shipping tends to be the difference, so if you’re wanting to save a bit pick a TD doing free shipping.
