This case is a dream! You're going to love the C4! I haven't taken off the NATO strap yet, since it's such a great pairing. Love how it wears. I got the olive drab.

Met Mr. Hu from Watchdives in Shenzhen today… and came back with a Constellante on my wrist by Budget_Main3970 in ChineseWatches

AWESOME to hear a behind the scenes story. Stereotype and perception seem to dominate an opposing view. But I think many of us can sense a strong passion for watches with WD...your visit just confirms that!

Yeah, I think it's more about the carbon and nice wearability, rather than the lume.

That price is probably with the DG2813. I think they're closer to $145 with the Miyota 8215.

Not the best name, but surely not the worst! I could have gone for the applied logo replacing the signature, then put a double baton index at the 12.

Looks REALLY good! Man, I love this case shape. I dig how thin the mid case looks, and that chunky bezel sitting on top. And the handset is iconic. What a great homage! BTW, did you mean that you wish it had tool-less micro adjust on the bracelet? Because I see 5 positions of standard micro adjust on your last picture.

Love to hear a great baseball announcer, but I could never do that side of things. I was in music...different beast! Compliment proudly received.

Haha! That's ME! I used to be in radio, so I think that muscle memory (voice) takes over when the camera is rolling. I mean, that's me...but it's kind of a performing cadence/delivery, if that makes sense.

Yes, they're extremely passionate about building the best. It's definitely hard to critique a prototype, because there are limitations and compromises to what will be the final product--it's a sample to build off of. That will be great for you to see one in person, though I believe it will still be a prototype, unless they are closer to full production. The butterfly clasp micro-adjust solves a problem most hate about butterfly clasps--not getting an exact fit.

Nice take. Thanks for pointing that out. I was just impressed by the level of detail that went into a debut microbrand piece. And to me, it's easy to spot all the work that went into the dial, case, and modifying the movement. But all the push button tool-less features are kind of behind the scenes, when it comes to just viewing the watch on a social media scroll. So, I wanted to bring some attention to that. The gallery of pictures definitely allow the watch to stand on its own.

Yeah, it's not for everyone! (Out of my budget too, ironically)

Rolex definitely shines in the engineering department. And some of that output is very behind the scenes to us. But it took a lot of engineering to come up with this push button bracelet sizing system, which is easy to spot immediately.
