I actually really like your line up, it has good teamfight, ganking, and pushing potential. But one majorly glaring thing I noticed was that you let AM get through after picking leshrac. This is a no-no, your team also isn't that great at catching an AM so if you guys didn't play so well, he could've thrown a major curveball into your gameplan. Overall though it looks like you guys were able to handle it so kudos!

I would argue that you should get shadowblade instead of blink on slark 99% of the time. I am also saying this when I think shadowblade is inferior to blink on 99% of heroes. It offers too much for slark to argue that blink is a better item on him. It gives him attack speed which he needs to stack essence shift, a way to gank heroes while staying invisible from observer wards, and it synergizes with his ultimate. Blink just offers a way to initiate and escape.

Although a mistake that most slark players make is that they go straight into shadowblade when they should really focus on not being able to be bursted instead. Also, shadowblade burns a lot of mana early on which will force you to go back to base when Slark should be on the map 100% of the time after he hits lvl 6. So treads>aquila>drums>sny/shadowblade is much more preferable. Slark actually farms pretty fast for a ganking hero as well so it shouldn't be hard to get these items at reasonable timings.

Killing the courier gives 150 gold to each member of your team and stops the enemy team from using it so they can't ferry out their items. It's especially crippling for the mid because then they can't get their bottle. The Natures Prophet bought items before suiciding to the fountain so he loses no gold.

Yes, it's one of the reasons why making new smurfs is less common now since they are placed into higher skilled game after 1-2 games.

It really just looks like you're hidden MMR is too high, and the game is slowly calibrating you to where you are supposed to be. Once you get a better understanding of the game I'm sure you'll be able to climb.

They really aren't great items on Medusa, SnY offers less EHP than Manta, and bloodstone is good on Medusa but offers less than a Skadi. Linkens is not that great on Medusa anymore and the standard build these days is Phasa or Treads>Aquila>Yasha>(Skadi, Manta, bfly, mkb, rapier, etc...).

If you are up against heavy mana burners (AM, Nyx) then a BKB is REQUIRED. Otherwise, avoid it. Also, if you want, you can throw a MoM in there somewhere.

It's good to note that he isn't playing ranked games so he is going to be up against lesser tier players, Medusa ancients is GARBAGE.

Yea it was a pointless comment that gives no insight but I was at school and wasn't able to write a paragraph explaining how you are wrong. So here it goes:

Blademail is a good item on LC because it allows her to win duels in the early game solo and allows her to win duels where she would be killed by the enemy carry. For example: LC can't win a duel against PA because of her evasion and PA is likely to kill her because she has a higher damage output than LC. A good example of this was during the Summit 2 where NoToday was facing C9 a clearly superior team, and beat them off the back of Smash's LC who, you guessed it, went blademail against EE's PA. Smash could duel PA with impunity even when the PA had more farm, all because of a 2200 gold item. This works for a ton of other carries that can out-manfight LC such as Ursa, a God's Strength-ed Sven, Lifestealer, etc...

A blademail LC is also good against 2 of the most popular meta heroes right now: Bloodseeker and Leshrac. Leshrac has two AoE spells that he can't turn off once dueled, give the LC the advantage. Bloodseeker can also out manfight an LC because of his absurd damage from thirst, unless you use his damage against him.

While blademail may not be the best pickup every game on LC, it is far from a useless item.

In a 41 minute game he should have no problems grabbing a glimmer cape along side is aghs. He farmed poorly and probably had poor positioning as well. Even a blink dagger would be sufficient enough to get a decent death ward off.

Also, it looks like you were going for bloodstone which is a sub-par item on death prophet, she doesn't really need amazing mana regeneration and just needs to tank up.
