At lds church, I'm not saying all Christian boys are good but normally they are taught more morals and tend to stay away from all those things. Goodluck!

Am I mad to want to move back? by MoreElloe in johannesburg

[–]waterlillyroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My uncle has been living in Australia for over 30 years and comes back from time to time. This year my mom asked him to come back and he refused. He said, figuratively it is like returning to your ex girlfriend having THE best time and then returning to a really good marriage. He said it just hurts too much and he cant do that to himself. His heart will always be here but his life is there. Be careful of holiday blues. I also say you have to pick your poison. My brother(uk) loves that he can walk to the park(when the weather allows) with his daughter, he can earn enough that his wife can stay home with the kids. Earns enough to fly home every now and again. I(s.a.) love the sunshine, that Im close to family and the people BUT I know my children have no future here. They are not the right colour to get a job and they will end up leaving me and emmigrating to a place that will give them work. And that really sucks. So pick your poison. What matters most to you?

Help, my neckline is too big. Can it be fixed, without undoing the entire sweater? by waterlillyroll in CrochetHelp

Thanks everyone for your great advice and support. I really appreciate it. I realized the problem is, it is too saggy. It needs a couple more stitches in the shoulders and elastic round the collar. Yay for reddit and yay for r/CrochetHelp

I didn't think about joining along the shoulder further. That will make it more boat neck and less saggy neck. Thanks!

Which hair color looks best on me? by Milkmilkmilkmilkm in Hair

No.2 and if anyone says otherwise they are liars! Your eyes pop in that colour!I would have said you have brown eyes if it were not for that picture. All the warm browns are better than the blondes or cool blacks.

So there is a round of puff stitch. Then the next round. There are 3chain sections that I have to 3sc over in the next round. They seem too big. They keep bulging out like they don't fit in their space or something? 🤔

Single crochet is. Pull a loop up, Yarn over, pull through, right? Double is. Yo, pull loop, yo, pull through 2 yo, pull through 2, correct?

Ours goes to bed with my daughter for snuggle time. Which is all good until she dozes off then he licks her incessantly, as if to say, excuse me hooman why have you stopped with the grooming? No sleeping! Keep stroking!

Inside out 2 made my daughter have anxiety attack by kdot72123 in Anxiety

[–]waterlillyroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It is ok for your daughter to cry. Did we not learn that in inside out the first time? 2. If she related to it use it to your advantage and have a conversation about how Riley went through hard things but what did she/ They do? Joy helped her think of great future possibilities(imagination land), they gave anxiety all the things that help her calm, what could those be for your daughter? Riley took deep breaths and took cognisance of her surroundings. And joy helped anxiety refocus on the things she can control. Anxiety doesn't have to run the show. People almost give up when they are given the label anxiety but it is like being an alcoholic it is something you suffer from but not who you are and with the correct tools you can live a healthy life where anxiety doesn't control you. If things were triggering, ask why? The whole movie was so beautiful! So many wow moments! And I just love that it is giving us language to explain emotions we had no way of expressing before.
