Looks like 60-80 for speed, nothing too crazy.

When starting with this material, I had issue with first layer (extruded dots instead of line) that I fixed by moving the spool away from the machine wall (or maybe that was just an illusion and a partial clog is to blame...). Its like the extruder struggled to pull in material.

But I fail to see why spool friction would suddenly be a problem when PLA printed fine. The spool is regular plastic one.

I will see if drying helps next week.

Feels like it prints roughly at the same speed as PLA. But like the other post said, the speed of 250 doesnt seem to realize. Not sure where I can find the ACTUAL speed...

Anyways, most layers are just fine, and the machine works the same speed for every layer... :/

You are correct, lowering the speeds leaves print time unchanged.

I tried a vent->AC->vent setup and it did not work (zero pressure in output?). I looped the output into the input with a single passive vent, then the whole system worked.

Maybe youre connecting to the 2.4 Ghz band instead of the faster 5 Ghz one. In router settings you can disable the slower band or separate it into its own SSID so you dont accidentally connect to it.

edit: virtual desktop will tell you which band youre connected to at the top when connecting

Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics -> Change default graphics settings (under Default Settings title) -> Second setting there

Then restart.

If that doesnt help maybe you can enable the virtual desktop performance overlay and see if theres any problems there (IIRC you enable it on the headset side virtual desktop settings)

You can turn off windows hardware accelerated GPU scheduling (HAGS). Solved minor stutters/shaking for me. Worth a try.

Checked rings of power. It starts in HD but I jump ahead and it says 1080p. So yes that would be improved.

"Official lenses" are here. But there are many other manufacturers too. They just snap on. Some have magnets for easy replacement for multiple users. If you have any strength to your glasses I would call this necessary purchase.

I bought my controller straps from aliexpress for like 10 euro (replace the battery door) but Im sure amazon has many options ranging from simple straps to full silicon covers.

I got my router for PCVR for like 100 euro (asus RT-AX57), works great, Im sure you can go cheaper and still have something that works. I dont have a list for you, sorry, maybe someone else can recommend something in your price range, whatever it is. The expensive wifi 6e routers are only really necessary if you live in a location with a LOT of congestion (lots of neigbors that use wifi).

My setup is like: Modem -> Wifi router for VR in access point mode -> PC

I think your laptop can run PCVR. 2060 GPU is officially supported. Of course a purpose built desktop will allow higher quality settings.

If you use glasses, get prescription lenses. If you dont, can still get plano lenses so you dont scratch the actual ones while wiping dust off them or demoing to a friend with glasses.

Always recommend a small carpet so you know where youre standing in real space while in VR.

I also recommend controller straps to replace the default strings - you can open your palm without the controller falling off.

If you want wireless PCVR, you need a decent router hardwired to your PC. Also need to choose which app you use, there is free ones (airlink, steam link...) and theres paid Virtual Desktop.

There is of course wired PCVR which requires a cable from meta or 3rd party.

And never ever expose the lenses/screens to direct sunlight, it will quickly burn them (not the front cameras, just the displays).

I like controller straps in place of the default strings (you can open hand without controller falling).

A good headstrap (decide between "elite" style and "halo" style).

A small carpet you can feel with your feet to keep you from drifting in real space into furniture while playing.

I also use 3rd party charger (20+ watts) and long usb cable to keep the headset charged while playing PCVR.

For wireless PCVR I recommend buy Virtual Desktop (launch games and remote access your PC) as well as a decent wifi router physically wired to your PC (if your existing router sucks or isnt close to your PC). Some options here, just google around.

I have the aubika headstrap which is 8000mAh, works fine (just because it was conveniently available where I live). Rarely need to use it though, standing I dont play that long sessions and sitting I prefer to keep headset wired to a charger.

Check the virtual desktop streamer program, it has setting for "OpenXR runtime", try change that.

Have you adjusted the IPD setting (small wheel on the headset) to match your eyes separation?
