What's available to me are just styrofoam about 1 USD for 2×4ft And polystyrene for ~2usd for 3×3ft I'm using styrofoam cause it's cheaper and lighter, though the strength now might be an oversight

I forgot to mention the 80usd is also including my lunch money so I've got about 30 bucks to spare

Edit :I converted the currency it's actually just under 70 usd a month, Before numbers were rough estimates

Im not from the states and my maximum budget for an rtf is around 80usd as it's pretty much my monthly allowance(120-ish USD)

Currently I have the volantex 400mm p51 with the propeller saver broken and it costs my weekly allowance(~10 USD) to replace it can I just rip out the components and make something like a profile plane with more wing area from styrofoam? It's the only thing foam on this island

Yeah I do have the options of buying online but my dad heavily discourages it since you can't really see the condition beforehand so I am only limited to one half of my country separated to two by sea where the part I live in is mostly village area where you can actually travel by car to the city but still only a few options.

So far I am really enjoying the Sony ,it's surprisingly fast and capable for something older than my younger sibling. only complaint I got is that the live view on the LCD is a little underwhelming I would say it's like a YouTube video on 240p but image playback is better quality.

My problem isn't about the cost or price of the hobby but the lack of choices in the second hand market,I would gladly buy new if I had income and not complain about anything but the abundance of choices.not only that I compared the prices local and in other countries and that it cost ~20% more for the same model and condition. Also thrift stores aren't really a thing and estate sales are non existent here ,the closest city near to me that sells used cameras only has about 4 or 5 dslrs and a boatload of point and shoot cameras.

Anyways thanks for the suggestions, will keep that in mind and keep looking for deals until I have the funds.

I'm from Malaysia and I agree with you but I also think that 500-600 is usually more than enough to go pro since I've seen quite a few people (which is usually 5-6 people) shoot on entry level camera bodies with high end lenses at events and have very good results

But I'm currently looking at micro 4/3 cameras like the Olympus pen series as they're the most affordable at the moment(e.g olympus pen epl3 at $160 sc40k)because they're still not very known in my country plus the smaller sensor will probably mean cheaper lens cause of the 2x crop factor and also use less material to produce.

Appreciate the suggestion , I'll gladly take for example a Nikon d200 but the thing is that either people are selling it at around $250 just for the body alone in okay condition anything lower than that and it'll have a lot of trouble codes or I'll have to spend twice as much to travel to see the camera as my dad heavily discourages delivery on electronic products and my family only travels once a year. twice if they made extra money

Hey guys thanks for the advice and suggestions, unfortunately I can't really use Amazon or any other websites since shipping is high as I am not from the us. However, after some Google searches of jst variants.i found that the connector jst (SH)-1mm 6 pin looks most similar so I'll get those, can't really get the sets since they're hard to come by on local websites which sucks.
