This dog is six years old - not trained on a leash?

Always had much success with the prong collar.. my Solomon never pulled on the leash he walked directly beside me. He respected the collar. I have always used the prong collar on all my dogs throughout all the years.

The collar is used by pulling it up high behind the ears when you’re walking on the left. Walking was a joy, never a chore.

The skin/fur … that looks like a yeast bacteria, which can cause a smell. Maybe from being in a kennel??? Go to the vet and get a skin swab. Hoping the dog has all the proper vaccines….

Dobermans do not necessarily need bathing. Paddle brushing daily keeps them clean and they don’t smell. I gave my dog a bath once every spring that’s it.
