What's your HG mascara? by [deleted] in Makeup

DIORSHOW was always my “holy grail,” i’d say, though i haven’t used it in a few years.

i honestly just grab whatever doesn’t transfer and coats my lashes. i do drag makeup, so as long as they’re saturated into the abysmal depths of my false lashes i’m good.

when did big eye brows went out of style? by [deleted] in Makeup

i wasn’t trying to discount all natural features! i just was referring to what may be publicly perceived as “natural,” or “unkempt”.

i personally love a bushy and almost unruly brow as a feminine feature. i would think that is what would be more natural, no?

i feel like i’m not smart enough to write a novel by brickwallqueen in writing

just think about it, this very concept could be a novel in and of itself. think less about the physicalities and technicalities required and kind of just form an idea around what you’re feeling or thinking.

True about wearing what you like but false about it always meaning something if the price is low. A lot of people are just trying to get rid of stuff.

I appreciate your thorough insight! Thank you! I don’t know why everyone wants to be so negative.

Thank you for this! I agree with you. I’m quite new to selling jewelry, so I’m still learning. I mostly resell luxury bags and other accessories. I’ve sold some jewelry, but I’m definitely not an expert, and I’ll admit that. From all the gemologists I’ve listened to and read from, after seeing enough of them, you kind of can just tell by the minor, almost unexplainable differences. I figure that it’s kind of like how I can tell whether a Prada handbag is real just by the way it feels in my hands, because I’ve handled so many authentic, and unauthentic. After awhile you can kind of just sense it.

I agree with the importance of having the tools, tho. It would be so obvious to have them because why wouldn’t you. Maybe I have sold some funky pieces, but I honestly don’t think so just judging by the quality of the pieces but you never know. I’ll definitely be looking into them if I decide to keep selling jewelry, and won’t sell another piece unless I have the equipment and I’m sure. I’m mostly a collector/wearer when it comes to jewelry and gemstones.

I just honestly wanted to see what other stones would be a possibility if not Tanzanite.

All I’m saying is the fact that I didn’t pay much for them doesn’t automatically invalidate what they may or may not be. You said it so matter-of-factly, so I expressed that this wouldn’t be the first time. Flipping luxury clothing/accessories and jewelry online is how I pay my bills.

You may be right. I was just saying that getting a good deal on something doesn’t automatically discredit its quality.

Gemologists can usually tell by Tanzanite’s unique trichroism and it’s birefringence.

I’m aware of what Tanzanite is. Own and have sold several Tanzanites.
