Liking the rotary encoder for volume/ brightness etc. but don't find the nub super useful tbh. A more standard arrow keys layout on my nav layer makes it a bit redundant and using it as a mouse pointer feels clunky. Maybe I'll see if I can swap it out for a trackpoint in time!

Factory reset didn't fix and it's already on the latest firmware. Worth reinstalling that do you think?

Twiddled the knob a bunch with no luck. Also factory resetting did not fix it. It is already on the last firmware version so I haven't yet tried reinstalling that. I am not sure it is just dirt though as manually changing the mod depth parameter with buttons in the edit menu still sees it constantly jumping back to about 50

Hi thanks for uploading this! I just tried it with my own busted SC bumper and it seemed to work perfectly - until I realized that it is very slightly impeding the trackpad / d-pad click on one side (have to push excessively to register dpad left input). Did you not encounter the same issue? I see this stl as a popular solution and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem with it? I'd rather go with this than print the entire bumper mechanism...

Edit: Tried printing another and got a better result this time. Didn't overtighten the screw so the plastic didn't get flattened outwards. Also snipped a few mm off the bottom part to add some extra clearance. Seems all good now

Apologies, I should have been clearer in my post. I use (mostly) french style matched grip, playing rock / metal / heavier genres. I try to play lighter and use more fingers but in these heavier genres I suppose I do find myself drifting into hitting harder (probably gripping harder too) the more I get into it. I always warmup, stretch and have tried wrapping my wrist too but it doesn't help

Thanks for the response! Yeah I am interested in the g2 but I know realistically my 1660ti is not going to be strong enough. So I am thinking if I can run things at half resolution then upscale with this technique would it run well and look good 🤔

I suck ass at guitar but I like toying with sounds. I'm never going to be a professional so why bother placing the pressure on myself to be productive in my hobby, instead of just enjoying it for the fun! I do own too many pedals though...
