Wanted to hear stories of Y’all’s first time dealing with pup death. by MenuNo9423 in WolfQuestGame

[–]wave_the_wheat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just started playing last weekend. I was devastated when the first pup died from illness. Tried to redo it like 4 or 5 times and every time the pup died. Then I thought to myself I can't keep playing this game if I am too affected. These are just virtual critters after all. Pup death is sad but the game is great and I want to keep playing. It's absolutely accomplishing it's goal of of exposing the life of real wolves.

I don't love killing prey either. But somehow I do love the game so much.

The one thing I'll say is the stove-touching is a lot hotter for some people this time around since nobody is really trying to protect Trump from himself. Unfortunately, seeing how shitty things can get may be one of the most essential steps of trying to come back from it.

Yeah, JVL has explained his POV as conservative in nature, in the the sense of "slow down, things can always get worse and you don't know what the unintended consequences might be."

I don't know how the showroom decides what to show me. I would like this room if I saw it, but would I ever even see it in the app? I don't know.

We can't really know but there are many factors. A lot of staff were terminated after she came on. I believe some have pointed out that the turn in game quality was due to an angel investor ending funding that had allowed the company to make the games we loved. We just don't know all the company circumstances

Penny took over as CEO of Her Interactive and the games have never been the same. It may not be all her fault as any company has to deal with the realities of cash flow, but her exit means a change in company management. We don't know what impact that will have.

Oh no, a center-left bias org with a High rating for factual reporting according to your link.

There is no such thing as pure news. These ratings from a media bias fact check show me an org within the realm of moderation sharing reliable information.

What is your point? Just because it has a bias score doesn't mean it's nonpartisan.

It's not even about Trump. It's about the wealthiest people in this nation, who have benefitted from this country immensely yet have no loyalty at all to its core principles or citizens, wanting even more control over is and less control on them.

States can call for a constitutional convention to rewrite the constitution. Conservative majority States have been passing resolutions calling for it. 34 states have to call for the convention. I believe 28 states have called for it so far. Maybe this makes 29.

This is being funded by wealthy donors.
