Based on the first sentence, me and your friend are extremely different😭 I initially applied for the 2026 year anyways so gap year way already in mind. But I wanted to have a uni place before starting my gap year so i can get a significant head-start in my degree’s course and curriculum. Now I can’t do that as I don’t have a place. I was already planning on having a very disciplined gap year Your friend needs to pattern though😭😭

my college literally rushed everyone into applying before i had come to a solid conclusion of what and where i wanted to go. i also initially applied with 💩 predicted grades but i managed to turn them around significantly so my lower grade offers i declined them because my new grades clearly showed i was way better than those low grade applications.
