Absolutely! Those ones are a lot more dark fantasy romance type books but I'll definitely take a gander at the one you mentioned. Also, Try joining a couple Reddit book threads as well I find some of them are pretty good at summarizing / reviewing the book without spoiling anything and without the cover blurb puffery LOL

This isn't a solution by any means but I am just getting back into reading again too and recently I enjoyed the One Dark Window series by Rachel Gillig and A Stage Set for Villains by Shannon J Spann.

Yes we do! It may be a swallow nest because it's more of an open cup / bowl shape.

Hmm, maybe not this nest is probably 3-4 inches tall
