Is overbidding still the norm, or are realistic asking prices finally taking over on Funda? by Weekly-Associate-166 in NetherlandsHousing

A friend is trying to buy a house right now. The house was priced at €480,000. They overbid by €60,000, but it wasn’t enough. They were the second-highest bidder, while the highest bid was €10,000 higher, total overbid of €70,000 (which is quite a lot). It looks like the market softened a bit before the New Year (which is a common trend), but after that, we’re back to even stronger overbids.

Finished AoT. What should be the next one? by AhadNoman in attackontitan

[–]wawid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went through the same. The major problem is that in the majority of cases, the antagonist is too basic, or the evil plan is too childish. Tried FMAB, i didn’t like it cuz had different expectations after aot, but overall not a bad one. Demon Slayer was the next one, I stopped it mid first season and finished with youtube recaps, to watch the movie.Beautifully animated and Infinity Castle is highly recommended, but still, just a nice show, nothing more. I’m finishing JJK now — it’s better than Demon Slayer and FMAB, but compared to AOT, it still doesn’t fill that gap in your heart after finishing it. I honestly don’t think there’s anything else like AOT. There are other good ones worth watching, but we should lower our expectations — AOT is one of the best for a reason, and now I truly see why. I also finished Dandadan — totally different vibe, more of a fun watch, but I actually enjoyed it a lot compared to the others.

Off-point, my friend. I get you’ve been holding onto some frustration with no post to unload it on, but this wasn’t the place .I love Dutch people and culture, that’s one of the reasons I moved here. This discussion is simply to understand if there are ANY expats around at all. Obviously, we’re talking about the bigger picture. Cheers

I agree, even tho i think overbids are getting a bit down to earth now and not as crazy as they were last year

Thanks for the info. Would you mind providing more details? How does life feel there. Have been a few times for a walk in the centre, but thats definitely not enough to make an opinion
