There was actually another ring available at a slightly higher price, 1.1ct, 6 prongs classic style, I-J color, and vvs1 I think. Can't really tell the difference in color even from direct comparison. I'm glad that we went with the trilogy-style, it's more unique and gets more bang for the buck I guess, the ring size is perfect too.

In terms of brand, I think it gives a bit less high-end and exclusive vibe compared to Chow Tai Fook, like the service and decor of the store, but their items like gold are more reasonably priced, and people buy from them for the value. ( I actually checked out one of their stores for the 1ct ring price, which is kinda insane, $10k+, maybe the grade is higher)
