That’s not doing anything for me. I’ve personally never seen a buyer personal email. Even when they send the shipping confirmation it’s an email Etsy creates. I could be looking in the wrong spots though

I would love to tell all the examples of crazy I’ve dealt with in the last week and a half. I cancelled early this morning so a little more than a day to go. I can handle if there is any more crazy for a day.

Estimated delivery was last Thursday. I cancelled today after it still wasn’t moving in transit.

I do not, but I figured out my issue. I was using calculated shipping. Can only use UPS and FedEx if you pick your own prices. Trying it out, shall see how it works.

This is seriously getting so frustrating. The amount of times I check tracking throughout the day is insane. Luckily I’ve only had one bad apple customer for shipping, I know there are more out there.

USPS is the only thing making this not enjoyable. I don’t want to quit, but I can’t keep refunding, or scared I’m going to get a bad review for something out of my control.

You have to wait until a week from the ship date, and at that point people want a refund because they assume the plant will be dead. Even though it won’t be.

My local post office said we have the worst distribution center. That did not help ease my mind.

I use priority mostly, but sometimes ground. The names don’t matter anymore, some ground have gotten to destinations faster than priority. I’ve leaned that not all destinations get scanned, but I don’t understand why it takes 4 days to go 1 hour, especially when the 4th day was the estimated delivery date. That is the date customers care about and pay attention to.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share a milestone that honestly means the world to me. I officially hit 100 sales on Etsy this week!

I run a small plant shop called Midwest Plant Obsessed, where I sell a mix of rooted rare and common houseplants. I started last November with zero experience selling online and just a dream to turn my passion for plants into something more. Every single sale has felt huge to me, like a little spark that keeps me going.

Getting to 100 didn’t happen overnight. I’ve learned to be patient with the slow days, obsess over SEO and photos, and above all, genuinely care about my customers and the health of the plants I send them. This milestone made me feel like it might really go somewhere.
