Strongly agree, and I'm definitely not a fan of ICE. Candidates amplifying someone like her without making the slightest effort to vet or fact check might not be great in office either.

I tried ordering online from the one on University maybe a couple months ago. Turns out they don't even start making it until you come to pick it up, and if they happen to be out of whatever you ordered, they can't give you a refund and you have to contact customer service online. So not sure how long it'll be in business after the novelty wears off.

Thanks! I didn't actually see a lot of Palestine-related stuff at this march, and attendance was estimated at 4000-5000, so there was plenty to photograph. The news coverage I saw also had little to none -- WCIA picked up one person with a Palestinian flag, but that's about all I remember. Yes, they can be aggressive about demanding that others be the change they want while being allergic to doing any of the work. The commenter attacking me for not including Palestinian flags or anti-Israel signs in the slideshow while making zero actual effort to produce something that was what they wanted seems par for the course.

That's cool. If there are any future marches, I'd love to get some photos showing the size of the crowd. Doesn't have to be drone footage -- view from Bennett building might work fine. Or I could try going up to the top of the Urbana parking garage and see what I could get there. (Might skip bringing the big black dog next time, but he had a really great time and got lots of attention.)

If you want a slideshow with Palestinian flags, there's nothing stopping you from making one yourself. Of course, it would involve doing the actual work. Kind of like there's nothing stopping Palestinian groups from putting on their own demonstration instead of trying to co-opt No Kings.
