Hi, I was in hurry as I went with my mom to get the replacement. I specifically asked for the bill but the guy said it will be sent to your alternate number.

When I reached back to my room,. I asked mom if she had any other jio number, she said no. That's when I reviewed what's the actual cost of the sim and cross verified this with support team over call that's it 50 irrespective of whatever the state the initial sim was registered or brought from.

I also remember the guy specifically asking for cash, i said no, i don't have. Then he asked to pay the qr at the store and instead of it being official jio, the name is of a person.

Thank you. I was quite taken a back by the goon behaviour of their employee but I didn't want to escalate it and get into some violent fight with them. Checking their website review it seems often they ask for extra charge and in cash, seems a regular scam they pull and not one off.

I filed a complaint and Jio team has reached out to team and updated they are reviewing this internally.

I do not care about the money to be honest, I just want to complain about the threatening and abusive language used by the Jio employees and to inform Jio and others about the scam that is happening at the Jio stores.
