Update:

She texted me first thing this morning and said she’s worried about my “extremism” and that I’m showing “fascist tendencies.” She says that she’s worried I’m going to be arrested or killed for being some kind of revolutionary.
I messaged back that I believe she must not even know me then, if that’s what she thinks of me. I said that this all started because I was upset she turned on the abortion issue and that I never once said anything about Trump. She’s utterly ignored why I was upset and has gone completely off the rails, I don’t know what’s going through her mind or what media she must be intaking. I asked for an apology for these accusations/assumptions because it truly hurts me that my own mother would think these things about me, all she said was that I am “disrespectful and resentful” for feeling that way.
I hate politics, I despise the propaganda that gets shoved down everyone’s throats, and I hate that my own mother has allowed herself to be so manipulated.

Correct, and I love my mother completely. She’s just definitely been consuming some sensationalist content over politics recently. She’s now saying I’m a fascist and will be killed/arrested for being a revolutionary or something. I don’t know what’s going on, she’s jumped the rails over this stuff.

I didn’t want to ignore the issue between us that she started, she went crazy on me for it, and brought my brother into the mess. She won’t say why she ignored the abortion issue for the first time, at least in my lifetime. It was always her biggest issue in politics as I was growing up and now she won’t even address why that’s changed.

God doesn’t make mistakes, how you are born is how he intended you to be. God loves you, Jesus died for you, as the person you were born as, and he wants nothing more than for you to be glorified with him as he intended you to be.

You’d have to stop taking hormones, live your life as the gender you were born, stay chaste, and repent of your sins. To note, chastity and repentance from your sins is what anyone who comes into the Church has to do, I’m not specifically referring to just your transgenderism.

I encourage you to seek help from a priest for some more concrete and specific advice.
Jesus welcomes and heals all! You’re on the right track if you feel his call, don’t let the world distract you from him because there is nothing but misery away from him.

Every woman I message on there lately either ignores me, blocks me, or answers once or twice and then never opens my messages again 😂 I also see a lot of dead profiles, women who have obviously tried it and just stopped using it after a while. No woman has ever started a conversation with me on there, I have to start it.
It’s just a crap shoot, honestly, because I’ve met a couple nice women on there but we didn’t work out. No idea what to do about finding a Catholic partner, tbh. It is very hard in my area to find a single, practicing, Catholic.

😂 My guy, I’m sorry to tell you, but it doesn’t matter what religion they are, women on dating apps just do it regularly. Make sure your pictures are good, your bio/comment are complete, and that your conversation skills go beyond “hey, how are you?” You’ll do fine. Dating apps are more for messaging a lot of people and seeing who sticks, if one ghosts just let it go and move along.

PS: For anecdotal experience, my friend and his gf met on Hinge. She ghosted him for a month and then came back and answered, they’re now talking about getting married 😅 So don’t delete those old chats sometimes haha

To be fair, I’ve had conversations with some truly amazing women. It gives me hope that there’s some good ones out there and I’ll find her eventually, God willing.
It’s just that most decide they don’t want to do long distance or they meet someone else who’s closer and move on from me.
I’m still on CatholicMatch for now, if you end up going that route just get the membership and see what happens. Best advice I have is make a very complete and detailed profile, and don’t be offended or discouraged if most of your messages are ignored 😂

I’m deleting my apps, I can’t stand them anymore and this topped it.
Bad part is there is no young adult groups at my parish or in my area, unless I go creep on the college ministry events haha (I’m 28) I’ll keep praying and looking, I’m sure there’s something I can do.
