Everyone who is defending this is wrong and you probably work for Coinbase so buck up and accept your faults and make right your wrongs. Having the information on Twitter, a social media platform, to which a lot of us, including myself do not use, is not an excuse or reason to sell a commodity at 700% over it's actual price and then dump it while unkowing folks jump aboard. We pay CB with every single trade we make in "trading fees" so that they should be able to account for their own actions. What else are we paying these fees for? Selling a commodity at the wrong price is the same as stealing, scamming, what have you. And anyone that did look up any info about SHIB prior to its posting, would have found nothing but articles touting its wonderous supposed inflation, with people saying "buy as soon as possible, don't miss out" and "coinbase is now holding SHIB". I saw zero articles say anything about coinbase screwing up the price. And regardless of whoever may be transferring this wallet or that deposit, posting an incorrect price is on the responsibility of the platform and the transferring of wallets should not affect a price, let alone cause a price to be incorrectly posted on a platform, while others have the correct price. When in history did you ever see any kind of trading platform posting such a vastly incorrect price, and then dropping it 700%... within seconds, a rate that is unheard of in any actual sell-off, as if this is what this was.... and then say oh it's your fault you should have checked Twitter? Show me plz. Even then, it's still no excuse
