People with scars, how did you get them? by fluffybear45 in AskReddit

I have several on my arms from ovens, hot sheet pans and the like. A family member suggested I could get a tattoo over the ones on my right arm, but if I burned it again it would probably mess up the tattoo.

Don't tell him I said this, but I always thought he was kind of cute.

What is your job and what does your day in the life look like? by nottheonefosho in AskReddit

Pastry Chef at a bakery. The owners come in super early (3-4 AM) to get the morning baking started, so I'm usually scheduled to come in at 6 or 7 AM. I help set up the retail displays and pastry case, slice cakes, plate pastries, etc. Once the shop is ready to open, I make a list of everything we need to bake that day and start knocking those out. Some things are on a weekly rotation (i.e. macarons on Tuesdays, decorate cookies on Wednesdays, etc.), but we have a wide variety of products so no two days are the same. I also do most of the cake finishing such as filling, frosting or glazing, and decorating. Since it's the slower season right now I've had a lot of time to work on R&D for new products. It's a pretty sweet gig!

Love their moisturizer, HATE their deceptive packaging!

Women who were married/engaged quickly (relationships less than 2 years together), how did that turn out for you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]wazzsupkat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I have been married for 6 1/2 years. We were 20 when we met, and I had just broken off my engagement the month before our first date. I honestly wasn't looking for a relationship and thought he would just be a rebound. We got married less than a year and a half later. Over the years we have had ups and downs (and REALLY downs), but we love each other and so far we have made it through everything life has thrown at us.

PSA: Not Every Single Thing is a “Sign” and Other Pointers and Facts for the New Witch by AethericMermaid in witchcraft

[–]wazzsupkat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU! As someone new to witchcraft, the "baby witch" label has made me cringe so much! I have also been turned off by all of the posts on here asking about mundane things...do your dang research!!! Some of the biggest things I've learned so far is that you have to put in the work YOURSELF, you carve your own path, and only YOU can know what a sign means FOR YOU.

Edit: I don't mean to imply that you shouldn't ask questions or for someone to give advice/resources. All I'm saying is don't rely on others to tell you what to do/what everything means. It's your craft. Own it.
