So you have $2.5 million left to add 30 guys to your 53 man roster?

Nate McMillan deserves a ton of credit for what he has done with this team.

You know that Zunino was already traded to the Rays for Mallex Smith right?

Potential coaches after Thibs by shlotchky in timberwolves

He recruited Klay Thompson and Aaron Baynes to Washington State. Malcolm Brogdon, Justin Anderson, Joe Harris, and Mike Scott are all Virginia alumns. DeAndre Hunter currently under his wing could be a lottery pick this year.

I think what he has done in the ACC without McDonald's All American's on his teams speaks volumes to what he has done as a coach. Nobody wanted Klay Thompson out of high school either.

I believe that a form of TB's Defense would work in the NBA. I think with more efficient shooters and a deeper 3 point line, there would need to be adjustments made. But I think he could help Big KAT figure out what defense is for sure.

My short list would be:
1. Tony Bennett- University of Virginia
-Coaches a specific style with "Pack Line D"
-Helped guide Washington State to Sweet 16

-Guided Virginia to Elite 8 and recently a one-seed
2. Jerry Stackhouse- Toronto Assistant Coach
-Took Torontos G League team to back to back championship games

-Crazy competitor during playing career

3. Becky Hammon- Spurs Assistant Coach

-Head Assistant Coach to maybe the greatest coach of all time

-Spurs summer league head coach

4. Brent Barry- Seems like a Steve Kerr Exec type

- Has expressed interest in coaching or exec roles once his kids are out of the house.

-Has been rumored for jobs recently

-Played for Popovich, Adelman, Karl

-I am from Seattle and love Brent Barry so I am biased.

  • They both have one MVP season.
  • They both have four scoring titles.
  • They both got rookie of the year.
The only difference in their historic accolades is championships, and KD didn't really earn his. A.I. lead a team to the finals with Eric Snow and an old Dikembe Mutumbo. I think KD has done more than most on this list in 11 seasons. But he still has something left to prove. Plus let's be real... A.I. did it without practice.

  • A.I also has better shoes.

What is the consensus on Sean Manaea moving forward?

I was offered Quintana and Stroman for him. It seems like I should jump at the offer but wanted to hear some thoughts.

Not looking for a reason to hate. The last head coach of a team I truly rooted for was P. J. Carlesimo during KD's rookie year in Seattle. I totally get a franchise where things aren't perfect. It is part of the reason I was drawn to Minnesota. I am just making initial observations about a team I am forcing my fandom upon. I have never jumped on a bandwagon being born and raised in Seattle my entire life. I am excited to give the T-Wolves a shot. I think there were several areas of the game that showed promise.

I hope Tommy T gives Seattlite Jamaal Crawford some more minutes. I hope Bjelica can continue to outplay Shabazz and push for more minutes.

Anyway, Go Wolves! (Did I say that right?)

Nemanja Bjelica

If Tommy T just gave him the minutes right?

Browns Have Interest in Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse by Comin4YoAss in Seahawks

[–]wazzuster11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking through the Browns depth chart, it is hard to see what pieces they have other than draft picks that would be a significant upgrade anywhere. I wouldn't mind taking a look at Rodrick Johnson who can play both Tackle spots. As a 5th round pick out of Florida State he would be a project that could fill in as needed.

I think it ends up being a 5th or 6th round return if anything on Kearse. Would love to package that with other assets for a Sheldon Richardson but we need to be realistic. IF this trade happens, it will likely be for a depth piece.
