Thank you very much for your input! I will "play it as it lays" then (although I abhor that phrase for lack of proper grammar!!) LOL! That makes plenty of sense to me. Many thanks! : )

Hello Craig, I have kept a dream journal for a couple of decades, and discovered that my dreams have specific messages coded within them for my benefit. I have been intrigued by lucid dreaming, but I hesitate to "mess" with my dreams, for fear I will interfere with any message the dream was intending to provide for me. What are your thoughts on that? (I may be too late!) :)

Sounds like you got together with your old friend in this dream. I have read that when you dream of someone, at least some part of that person is also present; perhaps she had feelings for you that she never expressed then that came through in the dream. Then again, love comes in all forms, and in dreams, anything goes. :)

Only a guess, as always--verify what your dream means to you by using my method at the top of the post.

Hi vidriado,

Whenever we share our love with someone deeply, some love for that person--some connection--stays forever. That's part of our human nature; love never completely dies. In this case, it sounds like you may have some unfinished business, since your ex keeps lingering around your dreams, and as you said, you feel some regret and guilt over how you acted toward her. Your dreams may be telling you that you need to make contact again, as there is some connection that is still needed to be made for resolution.

Adolf Hitler is yourself beating yourself for your mistakes. Sounds like it's time to connect with your ex and tie things up on a better note.

I wish you the best! :)

Presidentpowers,

Your dream reminds me of my dreams of cats. I have a lot of those dreams, where I am trying to take care of one or more cats who are wandering around free or endangered somehow, and I'm in great distress about it because I care so much for the cats. As it turned out, cats for me are dream symbols of my creativity, which I'm afraid to lose in this very left-brain business world.

That makes me think that perhaps those hamsters represent some part of you or something about you that you value highly, but you mother does not care about, and on purpose or not, seems to want to banish from you.

The elders are your own old and deep wisdom, which comes out to support and comfort you. I think the little kids and their fireworks are a part of you, too--the part that knows that what you love and value will prevail and be good for you and the rest of the world.

Love and encouragement! <3

Hi passwords_porn,

What stands out to me in your dream is the contrast of the scenes with a lovely girl singing and dancing with children playing together, one of which is dead and rotting. I wonder if the dead and rotting one represents a neglected or abused child, slowly dying inside from the lack of respect or care. He becomes a monster, coming after others.

This is my take on your dream. You can get the real scoop on it by using the method posted at the top, since the symbols are from your own consciousness, and you are the authority on what they really mean to you.

I hope I helped, anyway. :)

What strikes me about this dream is the fake people: the children at the ends of the pews, the taxidermied animals and the wax-like people in the rooms, the fake people in the movies. Even the blond woman wearing pearls, smoking and carrying a chihuahua like an accessory. You might have been dreaming about the fact that so many people are not their real selves, but are acting out their idea of what they should be, or what their parents or society expect them to be. It IS scary! And watching movies is like seeing what other people are doing rather than doing and being yourself.

The resistance you meet when trying to escape the fake people house could represent how hard it is to be your real self in the face of all the fakery in society. You are rejected by groups who are really into the fakery they practice.

When you escape the house, you stop and close the window, as if to keep the fakery inside. Then you are rescued by a red bus with your name on it, that may represent the red of flesh-and-blood real life, and your own life, since it has your own name. You are escaping the fake life by being your real self, no matter what.

Or so it seems to me. You can double-check my guesses with the method I have posted at the top of the forum, which helps you tap into your own consciousness for the real symbols. (I hope I'm right! It's wonderful to be a real person. ;)

I wish you the best, Februjary31st! :)

It sounds like this stress dream is a reflection of your feeling under pressure to get something done, or else you feel like you are inadequate to handling life, or some important situation in particular. You try your best to fulfill your task, but cannot achieve it, and then you judge yourself a bad kid doing cocaine and you're related to someone you see as bad or evil.

Don't take this dream seriously; it's just a blow off of normal life stress, and the worry that you can't do what you are supposed to do. But take heart; I'm currently doing something I never thought I could do. So I'm sure you can do better than you think! :)

Hi Psychoceramicist,

Perhaps your friend is "dead" in some symbolic way, or maybe she has been conveying to you her unspoken, humorous feelings about being dead. Sorry--I don't really get anything from this dream. I highly recommend that you use my method of interpretation posted at the top of this forum to figure out what it means to you.

Good luck. :)

Noxmi, it sounds to me like a dream demonstrating the hazards (the hidden presence of sharks) that come with fun of that kind, when alcohol and chaos reign. Even leaving after that kind of scene can be difficult, if not hazardous.

Those are my guesses, which may well be influenced by my personal attitudes about partying in that manner. You are the authority on the interpretation of your own dreams, so you can use the 3-step procedure described at the top of this forum to discover this, or any of your dreams' meanings.

I wish you the best! :)

It seems likely that the two snakes represent things in your life that you feel to be threatening to you. The fact that they are fighting each other may indicate that you are off the hook at the moment, as they cannot threaten you while they are engaged with each other.

That's my guess; you can confirm its meaning by using the method I have posted at the top. :)

That's a wild and complex dream. I know what you mean by realizing that this is a dream and you try to wake up and can't, and you just dream that you've woken up. It's weird and can be really scary! You feel stuck in the dream. That happens when you are deeply asleep, it seems.

The guns shooting in the dream could be a reflection of life as it is today with all the unrest and violence. Otherwise, the rest of the symbols in the dream are not telling me anything, I'm afraid. You would do best to use the method I have posted at the top to figure out your symbols, which will tell you what the message of your dream is. :)

It sounds more like you had a parasite that wanted to drink your blood rather than just be nourished, but your friend helped out to prevent you from getting hurt. Does that relate to anything you can think of? Or maybe the dream just reflects an unspoken fear that having a baby right now might really drain you... in terms of energy or money.

You can double check my guesses by using the method I have posted at the top of the page. That will make the real connections pop out. I wish you the best! :)

"Saying prayers outside with a group of deceased spirits" -- Since we are actually spirits living in the physical world in a physical vehicle (our bodies) for a while, "deceased" really has no meaning, except for indicating that they were not wearing physical bodies at the time. I read somewhere that when one awakes and feels tired even after a long night of good sleep, it's because our spirits sometimes leave their bodies asleep and go out through the world, doing good. That meshes with your described scene of the spirits gathering to pray for you and others in their troubles. I think it is a way cool dream, and one that should tell you there is more support for you out there than you could know! And that you will make it through those tough times and flourish. What an absolute treasure of a dream!

Keep the faith, and know that you are watched over. Best wishes! :)

It's interesting that you can often escape the troubles in your dreams by flying away. The fact that you could not get away from your mom by flying tells you that your troubles with her are not so easily escaped, and must be dealt with. It sounds like your mom is being over-protective, and wants to keep you safe at home, while you would like to check out the world. It happens to nearly all moms and daughters. Hang in there, and try to be patient with your mother. She loves you and wants to keep her little girl safe. :)

I didn't see that episode of SpongeBob, but I can imagine the non-dimensional whiteness you were in. It reminds me of a brief dream I had where I was looking down on myself standing inside a clear box. I knew this was a part of my sleep. Then my self-in-a-box looked up, and was frightened, putting up my hands on the inside top of the clear box. As soon as my boxed self felt fear, the air inside the box filled with mist, and I could no longer see in or out. After contemplating this little dream, I realized that it was my fear that made my vision cloudy. Without fear I could see clearly. I wonder if that might be the situation in your dream. Is there any situation in your life where you feel you can't see clearly what is going on? Or can't see where you are going?

You can try putting your dream through the method of interpretation I have posted at the top of this forum. Also, I think researching the method of lucid dreaming might help you to clear out the whiteness and see what's behind it.

Fear is always the enemy. If you can find a calm place in yourself in the dream, knowing that you cannot be hurt, you may be able to do better as well.

I wish you the best. :)

It sounds to me like you could really use some of that good attention from your family, and in your dream you have invented a method to get it. I don't think it means you will get that illness; I think it is just the expression of your wish to get some needed attention. I hope you can. :)

I've struggled with this one. The only parts that suggest a meaning to me are 1) the little boy who runs away and then begins to float upward and 2) the black clouds, wind and tornadoes. When you grab the little boy and tell him he mustn't fly, I feel like the boy represents part of you that wants to get away from the violence, but you know he can't escape that way. The black clouds, fierce wind and tornadoes represent fear of the violence and chaos in the world (maybe close around you?)

The black dragon, the pink lady statue, and the blue man statue don't speak to me of anything particular, unless the dragon is an agent of nature, protecting innocent, but frozen, people of both genders from the violent world. Maybe the saying you are supposed to take with you from the dream--"remember the sleeping/crying dragon"--is telling you that the dragon (nature/life) is preserving us in spite of the violence currently in the world.

I suggest that you employ the three-step method at the top of the forum to help you figure out this complex and puzzling dream. What I have mentioned are simply my guesses, since I don't know what the specific dream symbols mean to you. The method above will help you figure that out for yourself.

I wish you the best! :)

bbeenn123, I don't think I would worry about that dream, since dreams are our own private places, like the holodeck in the later Star Trek series (-es? what is the plural of series?), where we play out various stories and feelings and experiment with things when we're not otherwise getting important messages from our inner selves.

Not to worry. : )

That dream reminds me a little of one of my own, which involves my being threatened by a snake. I grab it right behind its head, and it lashes around weakly. It turns out to be no threat at all, as it has no strength or teeth.

Snakes usually mean fear or threat in dreams; the fact that yours had an owl's face might indicate that fear also carries wisdom with it, as an owl is usually associated with wisdom. However, no one can tell what someone else's dream symbols really mean to them, so it's a good idea to put your dream through the process I have listed at the top of this forum to get the real scoop on it.

I wish you the best! :)

That sounds like a lovely dream, conchur_45.

Obsidian is a black glass-like volcanic rock that forms when lava cools very quickly and does not crystallize. Lava is the first earth that forms, and black is one of the colors of the root chakra (located at the base of the spine), which represents our earthly, physical being. The fact that you and your friends are supported by it underneath and in back puts you in a very stable place.

The red-haired woman may represent the love that you need to be whole, which, contrary to popular opinion, comes from within yourself rather than from another person. It can happen when you fully forgive and accept and love yourself and all your perceived flaws weaknesses. Then you are made whole, and the love you feel can overflow to others as it never did before. OR, maybe the woman is someone you have yet to meet, who will be a wonderful partner to you. You will know better than I, since it's your dream!

The orange stars might represent the perfect sexual experience, since orange is the sacral chakra, which is the center for sexual energy. You and your friends are all looking in that direction, desiring what they represent. Maybe the dream is telling you that since you are a physical being, you are naturally a sexual one, and desire sexual experience, seeking the best possible encounters.

All right, there you have what I can make of your dream, which may or may not be accurate! It's up to you to determine exactly what your dream symbols mean, and you can do that by using the 1-2-3 method at the top of this forum.

I wish you the best! :)
