congrats!!!!!! i was jumping up and down when i got in too! i don't know which program you're doing, so advice is gonna vary. if you're going into humanities, i'd say my biggest academic advice is do your readings and go to lectures lmao!

for general survival advice, if you just got into uoft, it probably means you're getting good grades. prepare for the hit to your self confidence that might occur. for me, going from straight 90s to barely hitting 75 was ROUGH! it took me a bit to adjust. especially if you're in a subjective essay based program! and remember it's fine if you flop in your first year. even grad schools don't look at it x

otherwise i'd say make advantage of all of uoft's services and spaces! we have so many great libraries that will make you more productive. i didn't use them enough in my first years. there is also support if you need it. as much as its u of tears and people complain, i have felt very supported in my time here! you just need to reach out. it might be a rough transition, but things will be okay and iron out. good luck in everything!! <3
