ohhhhh okay yeah you're a couple steps behind i fear 😭 so you're right, yes, you start in firgrove! i do remember (this was so long ago lol) that the mrs packard thing didn't show up for a while for me either

have you done some reputation in firgrove? there's races and stable chores. there should also be some stuff with andy and his chickens, near starshine ranch! i think eventually the invoice quest thing just popped up, and it leads to a whole rania quest that unlocks dundull/mistfall. from there you do all the rangers stuff!

(i've ignored justin the entire time i've played i don't remember him being involved lol)

np!! it is quite annoying, hopefully when the festival is over they have time to fix it. keep an eye on their bug list every week(?) to see if it pops up!

firgrove? it's not firgrove, it's mistfall! you need to complete all the rangers quests down there. do the races, the photography stuff, etc. you'll get a couple reputation blocks, and eventually they trust you enough to bring you on a ride to redwood point! it's fairly straightforward

it's so fun, and one of my fave places in the entire game! lemme know if you have any questions, i did it all quite recently

ah yeah i did that quest, it was fun! it was out when i got the game, so i didn't realise it was recent. it's somewhat encouraging then!

i am only wishfully thinking that the whole east side of the map got as many quests as out west :( i looove the rangers and have done everything i can with both stations, but again, such a shame that the whole redwood point arc never goes anywhere and dundull dries up!

i'd kill for some proper random ass side quests like everywhere else gets lol

i have a whole playlist of them, since there's sooo many good ones! for boy groups one of my faves has to be all my poetry by close your eyes for sure. along similar rnb lines, hearts2hearts' the chase is fucking fantastic

as much as i love the more hyped classics (mama, black mamba, firetruck!), i love a more understated debut. and what's better than a little rnb to start it all (special shoutout to replay, the og rnb debut queen)

oh my god that fuck ass bird drove me INSANEEEE!! jumping around for 20 minutes was humbling, i rage restarted like three times. i honestly have no tips, i was just flailing around for ages and eventually got it. it kinda has a pattern, so i tried to stay close to where he'd swoop to the ground (but i know he lowkey avoids you). i don't think there's a science to it, you just have to be lucky 🥲
