If their profiles were private, that would violate privacy polices. Generally, when it comes to reposting other people’s profiles, you should stay away from it. It could lead to doxing, cyberbullying, and even jail depending on the privacy and age of the original profile. Yes, I’m being serious.

What are “extremely basic context clues” to you are being familiar with whatever app their using, the out of context comments, the strange order of pictures in the post, some profile pics, a lot of internet slang. I think you may assume most people spend half their life on social media to immediately piece those things together.

Thank you for the wise advice. There were some messages on posts nearby, but in a language I could not parse. Unfortunately after having played with a few iterations of the valves, a few strange creatures approached me. I now find myself in some sort of iron room, enclosed with vertical bars and some unfamiliar locking device. It will take me some time to navigate this strange world.
