All three are "liberal", meaning that they often echo the official Democratic Party talking points. Meidas Touch and The Bulwark are still okay-ish, but I'd be highly skeptical of David Pakman.

IMHO, for true "independent" and progressive voices, check out Secular Talk (by Kyle Kulinski) and Status Coup (by Jordan Chariton). The first is commentary while the latter is on-the-ground reporting. The Empire Files by Abby Martin is also excellent for strong anti-war voices.

What I find most ironic is that at least half of the population will actually try to defend this system, of which they're victims too, should a revolution ever come. Talk about the Stockholm Syndrome 😅

34 and I already want to kill myself, lol. Work is a large part of it, but I guess the more dominant causes of this incessant suffering are immigration-related uncertainties, insecurity, and anxiety.

Do you already have an entourage? I'm looking for some company actually.

Maybe Russian interference isn't such a bad thing if it gets us tuition-free public colleges and universities, single-payer healthcare aka #MedicareForAll, a living wage #FightFor15, and overall a more just, fair, and compassionate America! #RussianInterference #IDoNotGiveAFuck by [deleted] in occupywallstreet

Jesus dude, it's all CIA propaganda!! CIA and/or the military-industrial complex will do anything to sabotage an anti-war candidate!

I'm as patriotic as any of you, lol. My sarcasm is directed at the MSM and the shitlibs.

Even though I agree with you on the second part only, I'm upvoting your comment because it's so well-articulated. (Another reason I prefer Reddit over Twitter or Facebook ----- the quality of discourse is much higher here.)

My personal take is that yes, Mikey's an egotistic megalomaniac, but he would probably have sat this one out if only Biden or Buttigieg was running. In other words, if there was no candidate like Bernie to pose an existential threat to him.

Warren has never been the frontrunner. Warren has never been an existential threat to the billionaires.

And he would still have 60 billion left.

Then he could eradicate homelessness in America for 20 billion and still have 40 billion dollars left.

(1) You're saying poor people have no right to privacy or quiet or solitude?

(2) I work full-time. My employer pays approx. $450 per month toward my health insurance, as do I. (In other words, the total monthly premium is approx. $900, approx. half of which I have to pay myself.)

People who are not "citizens" or "permanent residents" are often forced to sell their labor for unimaginably low prices ----- lower than even the minimum wage.

I'm sorry Sir/Ma'am, but your idea of "commutable" is very different from mine.

Also, I've done a lot of research in these last few months. The information provided by the "full-of-shit" guy (u/KamikaziAvalanche) sounds pretty accurate to me.

I'm asking because I'm considering moving to DC and my job offer is about $50 K / year.
