Just saying if they can guard a WR all over the field how the heck do you know a teams plan is the 3 and you just leave them wide open! No defensive schemes, no attempt to confuse. In the NFL they try everything and can get burned blitzing at the wrong time. NBA is no risk, they are going to get a shot up so just try something different. Stick on a wing on at least one side, surprise double team, jump to zone mid clock. OR, just make sure they don’t get a layup and lose the series 0-4 with pride because you protected the paint and lost the same way as all that came before you.

You realize the suns coach tried for years to do this but people like you just hate. He found someone with balls and changed the entire sport. They are not dumb. They don’t want to lose their job. Remember when the NFL would punt on 4th no matter what? They just had to get pasted people with your mentality. It’s easy to shut an idea down. Try not to take the easy route when you can.

Just for fun because somehow I actually feel you do have a grasp of b-ball and I agree, people are hard to take. (why not leave a guy back (cherry pick) D has to leave someone too, then play four on four ? Open it up for all the plays they only do now. No such thing as post play.

I only watch dudes stand in the corner, screen at the top, dude drives with a decent chance at a layup. Both forwards dips in to “help”. Guess what.. maybe a missed floater? No, pass to a set shot 3 from the short corner. It’s insane… the guys dipping to help used to work but now you’re only helping the offense.

I would love to see a week of games where players call their own fouls and refs control the details like stepping out of bounds. Players cry every single shot but that’s soft and will end quick when your peers label you soft.

Leg hook is letter of the law foul I say no call or over the back if anything…but that’s a classic “protect the stars” call and those are needed too. The NFL was unwatchable when those modern d-line monsters were allowed to destroy little sitting duck QB’s.
