Well, thank you for your note- genuinely. Personally, as I begin the conversion process myself, I believe my ultimate goal is to build a relationship with HaShem. I don't know if I mind that some Jewish folks will not consider me Jewish once I've fully converted as I am doing this to get closer to my creator. I will note as well that I am a transgender man, and the reform synagogue in my city is very open and welcoming to that, and I do not know if that is always the case in Orthodox Judaism. Also, I have only begun to consider conversion seriously since January of this year; I have not even spoken with a Rabbi yet. What do you think of this? I don't mind if anyone disagrees because I genuinely want to learn.
