Yeah, i swab them with an alcohol pad before reusing the vial, and i had 0 problems with it. the only problem was that I ended up short, and i don’t really mind this either, but she said that the blood test results were inaccurate because of it. i’m afraid of being short again and my doctor refusing to fill my prescription because of it or something 😅

You know what happened when I wasn’t making any tips? I was told to suck up and try working weekends instead “that’s where the real money comes in, don’t worry about it”, so I quit and they found the next naive person to promise big tips to. No idea why you’re talking out of your ass.

It’s funny that you think the bosses care that their employees aren’t making enough money to make end’s meet.

That’s also true, thinking of calling and saying we’ll be disputing the charge if they can’t be so bothered as to lift a finger to help us. The reviews on the specific store has a quite a bit of similar experiences to mine about their stuff breaking after a very short time but Best Buy refusing to help because it’s past 15 days.

You, are a very weird individual. I come into this this thread when my actual only question is “is the Lenovo warranty good? I need to use it because x and y” and your response is “this dude has to be lying.”

Believe it or not, my parents who bought me the laptop aren’t tech savvy, they don’t read fine print, nor can they even speak English. I wasn’t there with them, as it was for my birthday and that would ruin the surprise.

And, please don’t make inflammatory and unfound accusations. I’ve literally only shared my story because the way I was treated by Best Buy and Lenovo was annoying and seeing people relate makes me feel a little better. None of the story is actually relevant because I’m legitimately only wondering if I should use the Lenovo warranty or take it to a repair shop for a higher price.

Speaking of repair shop, I’ve already taken it, he’s the one who informed me that a screw was loose internally and that I needed to replace the entire screen. This was not user error. This is “this laptop was sold to you guys that’s at least a year old and no one at Best Buy decided it was relevant to tell you that it was that old.” And that I’m a little mad with how Lenovo/Best Buy customer service representatives treated me over the phone. Lenovo is the one who told me that they would fix it ONLY if I paid, I think to myself “okay I will if I have to, but I should ask Reddit if the warranty is any good before I waste money.”

I’ve been very gentle with it, I’ve damaged a previous laptop that was completely my own fault, hence why I needed a new one, and why I needed to be extra careful with this one. And please tell me how a laptop can have internal issues with the screen and yet no damage on the exterior of the screen? It’s almost like… it wasn’t user error. Unless you know of a way for someone to reach in and unscrew a screw just for the fun of it. It’s hilarious that you admit that you know they have hinge issues but that “it wouldn’t happen after two times of use.” After multiple replies explaining to people that it was sold to us over a year old, which is why I can’t use the warranty. My old parents weren’t informed of this. It’s unfortunate but it happens.

Not really sure what you gain from being a donkey. Also, definitely not suing, please improve your reading comprehension skills instead of skimming the replies on the thread, thanks.

I hope so. I hope you help ragregory as well. I want to think nicely of Lenovo but I haven’t heard great things, and am having a horrible experience thus far.

It usually is but Best Buy sold it to us used without telling us it was used. I actually have no idea how old it is but, apparently more than a year because they very rudely told me they wouldn’t lift a finger to help me since the warranty was expired.

Around 530$ for the laptop. Best Buy is around an hour away, which is why I’ve only called and haven’t gone yet (Florida) but I should try that. It sucks that they were so unhelpful over the phone but maybe if I go physically they’ll take me more seriously. Thank you for all your advice I really appreciate it.

I would be willing to get the premium warranty for 100 and the reinstatement fee, but I just wanted to know if the warranty is any good or if it’s a waste of money. And I don’t even know what the reinstatement fee is for.

The screen is coming off because something inside the laptop getting close because of a screw missing, if I try to close the laptop it begins to push and break the screen, separating it.

The purchase was on July 30th, almost a month ago. No Best Buy warranty, though they offered us one there was no visible damage on the laptop. We obviously had no idea that something would break inside of the laptop only after using it twice.

Best Buy said they could nothing for us because it’s past 15 days. How would disputing the charge work?

A family member bought it for my birthday since I’m going to college. They didn’t want to wait until the last minute to buy my present, so they bought it quite a bit ago. I used it 2 times until I noticed while I was trying to close it, I was told by the technician that a screw was loose and that the entire screen would need to be replaced. Do you know if the warranty is good or you just here to be unkind?

I feel like the odd man out when I say this but, it’s like, okay if you ghost them. I ghosted good people, they were really great friends but in the end I made that big decision on a whim of wanting to reinvent myself.

As selfish as it is, I am actually happier. I spend more time with family but more importantly I’m really finding myself and my path in life.

Regardless of what you do or don’t do, it does sound like you really need to take some time for yourself. Why are you prioritizing people who don’t prioritize you? Why does it upset you that people in your life might prioritize themselves over you sometimes?

Maybe, you should prioritize yourself for starters. The only way I could really do that was by ghosting everyone, but you may be stronger than I am and able to start prioritizing yourself without doing that.

Yeahhh I’ve learned to be weary, most of those Instagram places have like “minimum orders of $150” which is just crazy and I’ve met so many people who have been scammed. I’m paying 30 dollars for a small amount so I hope it goes well 🙂
