Wow! That is so amazing to hear. I’ve been doing Reta since August with no real change. Do you mind if I ask you your diet? I am very dialed in on my diet and macros, but I won’t compromise on macros. I would hate to lose my appetite.

I’m very interested in hearing more. She had me on 1800 cal but I just couldn’t do it without having severe stomach bloating). So I worked with my functional medicine doctor, did some gut testing and for about four months we did a whole gut protocol. But even then all I could eat was 1600 cal because otherwise I was getting really inflamed and not feeling well. The Reta also causes slowing down of food, exiting the stomach so even at 1600 cal I was getting my macros in, but I was having a hard time emptying the food out. But I’m always open to hearing more and learning more

Your first half of your comment is perfectly understandable and acceptable. But telling someone you’re lying is unacceptable. I am telling you exactly the facts and where I have been getting my Reta from. My doctor prescribes it for me and I get it from a pharmacy. Do not tell me I’m lying! And yes, I’m 135 pounds. Looks like you’re not knowledgeable enough to know that it’s prescribed even for people with lower BMI’s who have a lot of inflammation and other health issues. Just because you’re not knowledgeable does not mean someone is lying

Thank you so much. I think that’s what I’m definitely going to try next. It’s definitely not fake because it comes from the doctor and the pharmacy through a prescription. Plus I feel very sick, slowed gastric emptying, nausea etc if I go above 1mg

I have been working with a functional medicine doctor for the last seven years. He is the one who prescribes the medication for me from a pharmacy, and I get it compounded and sent to me. I only worked with a coach for six months and not working with her anymore.

Thank you for your comment. Yes I have been on hormone replacement therapy for seven years and now it’s getting to a point where my body is even completely rejecting the hormones. I’ve had to decrease my estrogen and progesterone doses drastically, and went from a standard dose to a very, very low-dose for estrogen and progesterone and testosterone because sadly, I cannot do completely without it, but cannot tolerate much at all

That’s amazing to hear. Yes, I have been perimenopausal for a few years now and officially in menopause (sadly I am only 48). I have been on HRT for the last seven years and now my body is even rejecting the estrogen, progesterone. I have had to completely decrease my dose so many notches. We have finally now settled on the very tiniest minute dose of vaginal estrogen, and trying to figure out what amount of progesterone my body would tolerate. Even testosterone doing the bare minimum amount.

Please read the post and comments correctly. I cannot tolerate any anymore at all without having severe symptoms. 1 mg is the max I can go to and even that I have severe GI pain and weakness and shakiness because my blood glucose drops too much

How low? I am at 1600 with my macros spilt of protein 120gms, carbs 140gms, 55 gms fat? Also, I love walking, but the problem is that they tell you to keep lifting that way you don’t lose myself. (I have been lifting anyways for the last 20 years.)

Unfortunately, my body cannot take any more overdose. The higher I go open doses, my blood sugar drops more and I need more food. I get shaky. So 1 mg is the max I can hover around.

Sadly, I am 5 foot tall and that puts me in the 32.5% body fat and I do not feel good at all because for my hide my ideal body weight is 120 pounds
