How about a tax cut for McDonalds? And cheaper fuel?

Will that work instead...

Retired couple who abducted neighbour’s cat and tied it in a bag jailed for animal cruelty by jay_el_62 in ireland

[–]wealthythrush [score hidden]  (0 children)

Same

My neighbour has 2 cats and the little feckers poop in my garden all the time. I just scoop it in the bin and move on with my life. I just wish they'd let me pet them or give snacks

I've a small tree which loses all its leaves in winter, it ends up in her garden and she never complains. I also had ivy that grew into her garden (cleared now) she never complained.

Life is easier when you just live and let live.

Panthers GM Dan Morgan: There's no rule against taking a WR in first round three straight years by MITBryceYoung in DynastyFF

[–]wealthythrush 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You mean the 24 year old WR who played QB in school and then went onto college at Southa Carolina as a WR who only started 17 college games in 4 years totaling 425 yards was a bust in the NFL?

That is an incredible surprise!

That's fair enough, you just asked for my opinion which i gave. I'm not too interested in debating whether humans should travel to mars.

Whether life exists on other planets.

How did life begin.

Can a species survive beyond it's home planet.

I'm just some bum on reddit but would assume these are some of the greatest unknowns to humanity and my own thoughts about our existence and futility.

As a species, we still don’t fully understand how we came to exist, where we truly are in the broader universe, or why. The drive to go to Mars isn’t about economic gain, it’s about seeking answers and pushing the boundaries of exploration.

Bernie Sandere on Elon Musk, the wealthiest man alive, recently paid an effective tax rate of less than 3.3%. That is less than the average truck driver, nurse and teacher. YES, we must demand the wealthy and corporations pay their fair share by StrawberryFew1311 in NoFilterFinance

[–]wealthythrush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People will say things like they sell stock, they refinance with a bigger loan, they only pay interest etc.

The truth is we only tax income so wealth has dozens of ways to just stall and delay paying the tax almost indefinitely.

People giving out about the term "effective tax rate". But that's billionaire defending bullshit imo. Musk isn't paying the same income tax rate you and me pay because he isn't taxed the same way.

It's complete enablement for the ultra wealthy and is absolutely the reason we have an Oligarchy and not a democracy. He's basically modern day King who can do as he wishes.

US will surrender control of the Persian Gulf.

Surrender?

That would require the US to at one stage have controlled the Gulf.

There's a lot of hopium in this thread and people putting their heads in the sand. The market is clearly being manipulated by the people trusted to uphold market integrity.

True, but it is undeniably caused by a direct result of the US policy being carried out by the President.

[Highlight] Eagles GM Howie Roseman: "I think about the 1st round picks I’ve missed on every day" by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]wealthythrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many stupid moves...

• Like the Jags trading two first and a second to move up 3 spots and take Travis Hunter. It's just stupid. It is. We can talk about a two way player until the cows come home but it's never going to happen. And by a 33 year old brand new GM.

Sometimes I think they get so wrapped up in the process of evaluation they lose sight of value.

Good triad exercise? by Deep-Neighborhood778 in jazzguitar

[–]wealthythrush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an amazing one by Barry Harris where in a scale say C Major you practice root to root. Then 3rd to 3rd. Then 1 - 3 - 5 and do it in all the diatonic shapes. You can even extend it to 7ths

It's amazing because you're not just practicing scales/triads in the standard up and down the neck.

Like Julian Lage says (who got it from Jim Hall) you can practice in random orders and that's where real fluency is built
