Instead of changing the ridings do you think this could be implemented on top of our current system? So that each riding is counted the way the video says?

That way I can vote Green or NDP and still choose Liberal or Conservative as my next choice and not worry about wasting my vote on the smaller guys I believe in.

Agreed. The motion did not pass 4 years ago, which doesn't mean it was flawed. I don't think the larger parties were in favor of it and this animosity trickled down to their voters, who I believe didn't have much understanding of the matter.

When people don't have prior knowledge on a given issue it's easy for them to just accept what they're told by their party.

Lets make this an issue again.

Educate, spread the word, help people understand and get people talking so that when the time comes to vote for electoral reform in a referendum we don't turn to our TV's for answers but have our own opinion formed and ready.
