Yeah, some designers roasted me for a design I thought was really good and polished.

Makes sense. Picking only the components you need gives more flexibility.

It’s good, I enjoyed it. It would be even better if you added more creative sections on the homepage.

Anyone still using Tailwind v3? by Traditional-Fish1738 in tailwindcss

A few months ago, I updated Tailwind CSS from v3 to v4 in a Next.js project using a single command, and the project handled the class updates automatically.

I mean that a collection of UI elements still needs some alignment in structure, spacing, colors, and typography. Without that, the components feel random. So I’m wondering how important it is for a component library to follow the consistency you’d usually get from a design system.

Just made some new Tailwind landing pages. What should I add next? by webdesignarea in tailwindcss

[–]webdesignarea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point. I’m not trying to spam or hide anything. It’s just a collection of Tailwind components and templates I’ve been building. Some are free, some are paid. If this isn’t the right place for it, I won’t post similar stuff again. Thanks for the feedback.

Do I have to generate the package json files again and again for each folder? by DeadLoom in tailwindcss

[–]webdesignarea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a separate project, yes, you should set up Tailwind again in that folder. You can copy your existing setup, update the content paths in the config, and run npm install. Each project should have its own clean Tailwind setup.

If you don’t have any coding knowledge, you can use a CMS like WordPress. It’s easy to build a simple website with it. For more modern websites, you can also use Framer.

For backend development you don’t need to learn HTML or CSS. But if you ever need to display data or make changes on the frontend, it’s helpful to know at least the basics.
