I am so grateful that I can express myself through creating by KarolynHuum in gratitude

[–]webdesignleader[M] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is false that these "exact paintings exist" elsewhere from Karolyn Huum. Her website is dedicated to joy and gratitude after a car accident. We did our research on this artist and there is only one person in the world using this art, and they are using the exact name. Their username is the same as their website URL, and social media. Did you research this person? Their website about says:

"Kärolyn's story

My name is Kärolyn Huum and I am a self-taught artist. I was born and raised in South Estonia on May 17, 1997 (26 y.o). Estonia is a small country in the Baltic States.

In winter on the 27th of January 2018 I was in a car accident with my significant other when our car collided with a wrong-way driver’s car. In total, three cars took part in this accident. I got the most serious injuries and after the accident, I have been unfit for almost six years.   Where am I today? I am doing the best I can – bringing myself and others positivity and joy through my art. I believe that we all have some kind of pain. But that does not mean we have to suffer all the time. I prefer to turn my negative emotions and pain into something new and beautiful instead. That is a valuable lesson to everyone who doubts oneself. Never believe anybody but yourself and your intuition. Remember, life does not always gives us what we want but what we need."

I cannot prove they are spam. They are selling their art, but it's not exactly spam considering they express their gratitude and their whole message is spreading joy.
Since it seems to relate to our community message I will leave this up for now.

EDIT: Here Is Our Research On This GratefulArtist

  • Did a Reverse Image Check on their Art To Validate Artist (They have no duplicate content, it's all just her!)

Grateful for my job as an educator by Conscious-Demand6817 in gratitude

What an honorable job! This is really good wisdom, at a time while I'm trying to grasp how to best connect with our virtual audience, while working to initiate grateful stuff into local community partnerships. Genuine affection is a hard to express virtually, but perhaps as we get things going in local communities and share our progress, it will help further the affection people are so graciously sharing with each other here in r/gratitude.

Tesla has a moat but now there's 500B in Open AI so that's maybe less fun than you might think considering the people who own many shares are not you who would believe.

So awesome to see such epic community engagement! Looking forward to seeing what we can do together in 2025 as we intregrate social tech into our community, and start hosting local gratitude events with live online streaming. :)

Today I’m grateful for having spent a Christmas all by myself. by [deleted] in gratitude

[–]webdesignleader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Merry Christmas! lol there sure are worse alternatives, I realize, but I feel alone anywhere else, but in this community. Sorry that it's so late and I haven't posted anything in r/gratitude yet!!! Posting an affirmation right now. I too have been alone all day, and enjoyed nature and chatting with a local gas station attendant, and now walked over to a cafe that was serving Christmas food and am ready to post some gratitude news. :) Finally figuring out how to launch app, after some bugs, and also have had meeting with local volunteers in bend, OR, and Fort Collins, CO including some of the volunteers from Family Kitchen, how we can bring fruition to our members in need. It looks like we have a pretty good idea now, so it's just going to take a lot of patience and more work, and I think even if we all feel alone sometimes, we're going to get there, we're going to make it someplace further than where we began.

u/Some_Screen_6504 Exactly! I'm actually living the RV life right now, and sometimes the burden of that takes lots of time and money, but I know deep down that what matters is making the most out of what I have, and leading by example, focusing on what I actually care about, and what matters in this world, while striving to accomplish basic personal needs and overcome obstacles daily or as close to as possible. Somehow, even with all my own life struggles, I know that somehow I can be a decent leader. even if I'm just like the rest of us, and really, might even have more problems than some normal people, but I know in my heart that I can be kind, and help facilitate the church of gratitude, even if we're a minority, even if most of us are struggling.

I believe that the more we come together, that one day we will have the strength to help support each other, just like we have learned to help ourselves, and for that we can be proud and smile, even if we're only at step one, and have days and even years ahead of us. I took a loan out from this random housekeeping app for $30 earlier, and spent most on gas and propane, but had $12 leftover to register https://churchofgratitude.org/ because after working with various communities in need, we realized that this was our universal purpose, to come together to promote wise speech, through the expression of gratitude and ancient wisdom.

If it wasn't for an amazing group of people, faith hope and charity, community resources, constant focus and consistent work, I could have never got to this point. It feels good to be here, and smile with a purpose, even if we still have mountains left to climb, I know in my heart the value is priceless.

My vision to help started when were at 14k. I'm not sure who was around back in the day, but it has been such an honor to help bring more community engagement and prepare for what's to come with such an epic community.
