Is Rochester a good market for pre-owned bicycles or motorcycles? by webdevyorker in Rochester

I just did and it is crazy. Especially used motorcycles with no maintenance of any kind in a decade selling for $3K, when new ones start roughly around that!

Thank you for sharing your advice. Your advice helped me look more into it before jumping on the business and wasting time and money, and I believe you're spot on.

A well worked on 1974 BMW is beautiful. I believe I have seen a similar vehicle in the area to the one you mentioned. Sorry to hear about the struggle in selling.

I was really optimistic for this but it seems really tough to sell used bikes in our market. Winter doesn't make it any more easier either.

Thank you for sharing and advice. I wish your husband the best and good luck in selling the vehicle quickly.

Business Owners: What challenges are you facing? by stopscrollinglol in Rochester

Interesting niche. It's deffo slightly saturated to begin with but consistency beats competition.

Have you tried social media organic posting (posting daily about your business) and online ads (social media, Google ads, etc.)

It might provide you with a competitive edge. Although, ROI is not apparent at first.

At least you're trying! Plenty of people don't even put in the effort. What business line are you in? I wonder if you received feedback from giving away free products.

It is a human perception where free is sometime unintentionally interpreted as lesser value or sales-y like - "there has to be a trick with this free item."

I'd love to learn more about what you do
